Roula is a wonderful host. The house is beautiful and in exceptional condition. The location is great with amazing bay sunrise. A perfect stay for a family with children.

Beautifully and contemporarily decorated - not
your average basic beach house 😍.
The property was very clean and the best part of
the stay was the hostess Roula. She truly looked after her guests ❤️

Roula is a lovely host, friendly and helpful and the apartment was absolutely spotless. The location is fantastic with lovely views from the wraparound balcony. When we arrived there was some breakfast food supplied by Roula for the next morning, and she was very helpful letting us know where the nearest shops were and also booking taxis for us. The apartment is nicely furnished with a good amount of kitchenware. There are shutters and mosquito nets on the windows which was great. The location is really good for the beach and Gouvia restaurants/bars, we would stay again!

Die Wohnung ist groß und liegt nahe an der Stadt Korfu. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und grundsätzlich ist die Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit. Korfu ist tramhaft.
Wir waren schon bei der Ankunft enttäuscht, waren wir doch laut der Beschreibung bei booking.com davon ausgegangen, dass wenn man ein "Ferienhaus" mietet, man auch ein Ferienhaus bekommt. Stattdessen handelte es sich nur um eine Wohnung im obersten Stock, so dass wir das Haus mit anderen Urlaubern teilen mussten. Die Vermieterin wohnte im Hinterhaus. Wir haben die Vermieterin natürlich auf das Missverständnis und unsere Unzufriedenheit aufmerksam gemacht. Sie hat es uns die missverständliche und widersprüchliche Beschreibung mit einer fälschlichen Übersetzung von Griechisch ins Deutsche begründet (Komisch nur, dass eine andere Wohnung im selben Haus (Sandys Beach House) eindeutig als Wohnung gekennzeichnet ist). Aber anstatt Abhilfe zu schaffen, hat die Vermieterin darauf bestanden, die von booking.com fälschlicherweise zu niedrig angesetze Kurtaxe, nachzuzahlen: nochmal 60 €! Wir kommen also in eine Unterkunft, die nicht der Beschreibung entspricht und anstatt uns entgegen zu kommen, verlangt man zusätzliche Gebühren Wir hätten die Wohnung zu diesem Preis nie gemietet, wenn uns bewusst gewesen wäre, dasss es sich lediglich um eine Wohnung handelt. So war ein Sonnenbad im Garten nicht möglich und andere Mieter beschwerten sich über Lärmbelästigung. In einem separaten Fereinhaus wäre das kein Thema gewesen. Auch war aufgrund der geringen Breite des Balkons weder ein Frühstück noch ein Abendessen "draussen" nicht möglich, wobei wir in unserem Urlaub die gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten auf der Veranda (die wir ja nicht hatten) genießen. Der versprochene Grill war im Erdgeschoss und nicht zugänglich und wurde uns auch nie zur Verwendung angeboten. Zudem ist der nahegelegene Strand sehr schmutzig, Springbrunnen, die nicht funktionieren und verfalllen sind, zeugen davon, dass es der Strand schon bessere Zeiten gesehen hat. Es gibt aber genug andere echt schöne Strände auf Korfu, man hat sie nur nicht, wie beschrieben, vorm Haus.
