This newly-renovated home is located in the friendly Old Beach neighborhood of Virginia Beach, VA. Just blocks from the oceanfront and boardwalk, this house is tucked back far enough for a peaceful getaway yet well within walking distance of all of the excitement that the oceanfront and boardwalk have to offer! The Convention Center, Vibe Creative Arts District, two grocery stores, a pharmacy, a local fish market, an ABC store and a local hardware store are all less than a mile away. Just down the street is a beach rental equipment shop with bikes, surfboards and paddle boards available for rent. Not to mention, there are a multitude of shops, restaurants and activities just a short walk or bike ride away!
This home has a private, 4-car driveway!!
Equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bathroom, this home lends itself to plenty of space for 10 guests. It's a 2-story home with a substantial open-concept living space on the first floor that includes vaulted ceilings with skylights, a large sectional sofa and rocking chairs, a solid-wood dining table that seats 10 and a gorgeous, fully-functional kitchen boasting marble countertops, a huge kitchen island with barstools, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, plenty of kitchenware to prep food and drinks during your stay and TONS of storage space!
The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the first-floor and have spa-like amenities including heated tile floors, a deep-soaker bathtub, a shower with dual, pulsating shower-heads, a double vanity and a memory-foam King-sized mattress.
A laundry room/mudroom is also downstairs and provides plenty of additional storage space for belongings. It the perfect place to drop sandy beach towels and flip-flops after fun-filled days at the beach!
Upstairs you'll find a 1/2 bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms that are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. Both bedrooms come with dual closets and dressers that provide ample storage for belongings.
One of the bedrooms is furnished with 2 full-sized beds and the other bedroom houses 2 queen-sized beds. All beds are furnished with memory-foam mattresses. The Jack and Jill Bathroom has a full-sized bathtub/shower combo and vanity.
This home also comes with a landscaped front yard and a modest, fenced-in back yard. French doors in the kitchen lead to a backyard deck that comes furnished with comfortable seating and a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Built in 1978, this home has been completely renovated! The home comes with hardwood floors throughout and porcelain tile in all bathrooms. HVAC is new keeps the temperature within the home "just right" in all seasons of weather. The washer and dryer are new and efficient as is the dishwasher and all other appliances within the home.
Bedrooms are furnished with bed linens including fitted and flat sheets, pillow cases and additional blankets for added layers of warmth when needed.
Bathrooms are furnished with bath towels, hand towels, washcloths and bath/shower mats. Hand soap is provided in all bathrooms as well as small, travel-size samples of bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. Sample toiletries are provided as a courtesy to allow time for you to settle in, get to the store and stock up.

This house was very clean and we enjoyed the open floor plan. The master bathroom was a pleasant surprise as well! The owners responded quickly to one small issue which made the stay more enjoyable. The walk to the boardwalk was only about 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend staying here again and plan on coming back soon!!

Our stay at this house was really perfect! It was clean, well equipped and roomy. The host was very responsive and helpful and got back to us quickly when we had questions. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable; pots, pans, dishes, etc., and everything was in great shape; no mismatched dishes and burned, melted or nasty looking tools. There were plenty of towels and pillows. There are some great restaurants very close by, as well as a grocery store. We had no problems finding a good place to eat. The street and neighborhood was quiet. The back deck is very pleasant and we had fun watching the squirrels in the huge oak tree in the back yard. I highly recommend this house and host and would definitely stay here again. It is very comfortable and relaxing.
