Great value for money

The view was amazing. It made the experience that much more peaceful. There's also lots of great restaurants nearby. The tram stop is also just around the corner.

The lack of toilet paper. Luckily, we came prepared with a few extra rolls, but I can imagine other couples not being so lucky. The disposal of garbage was different from what we were told. They said it was free, and we could just put it into the container on the street. However, it was not free. It cost 50 cents in cash, which we didn't have on us at that time.

Disappointing Stay - Suggestions for Improvement

The best thing about this accommodation is the location facing the sea.

I would like to suggest a few ways that could potentially enhance the overall guest experience: 1. I chose this place based on the beautiful pictures of the sea views on Booking.com. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was unable to appreciate the scenery due to the dirty windows, which greatly hindered my ability to enjoy the stunning view. I suggest to pay extra attention to the windows and clean them better to ensure that guests can enjoy the view. 2. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the studio was not up to my expectations. There was an unpleasant smell in the air. There were stains on the floor, the bath mat was dirty, and there were hairs in the shower. To make matters worse, I found out that the place was not cleaned at all between my departure and the arrival of the next guest. 3. The absence of sheets, toilet paper, and covers for the pillows and blankets was disappointing. The bedding provided consisted of only two small and dirty blankets which made for an uncomfortable sleep experience. Given the price that was charged, I believe that these basic amenities should be provided to guests. I also think it's fair to expect some basic supplies like coffee capsules and dishwasher tablets to be provided at a nightly rate of 95 euro. 4. The host advertised that guests could park for free around the building. However, in reality, the nearest free parking spot I found was approximately 600m away from the building. 5. To sum up, I believe that a more personal touch would greatly enhance the guest experience. While I understand the desire to make everything automatic and self-sufficient (such as relying on a locker system for keys, a 100 euro deposit for assurance purposes, and no provision of basic amenities or daily cleaning service), it puts a burden on the guest and falls short of demonstrating the expected level of hospitality. A more human approach, with greater attention to the guest's needs and comfort, would be greatly appreciated.

Quiet and comfortable apartment overlooking the sea

Very comfortable, modern apartment with well equipped kitchen and a wonderful view of the sea. Even though the it was was cold and very windy outside, the apartment was peaceful and warm.

Be prepared: no towels, sheets or toilet paper is provided in the apartment. The area was very quiet in January (lots of the places that say they're open on Google maps aren't!) but this was fine for me :)

The location of this very small but cute studio was perfect! A bit out of the centre, but quite end calme; place for parking the car enough! Frontal seasight as indicated

This very small but cute studio is perfect for 2 persons (altough there are 3 beds...)! I would not recommend it for 3...: Table for eating is too small.... Parking costs 10 € a day (everywhere in Middelkerke!) (10 hours, from 9AM till 19 PM)

The position is amazing, it is just by the beach.

The flat is not cleaned after the guest leaves but (as told by the host) only once a week (during the weekend, if I remember correctly), independently from how many people come and go. You basically enter a place that has been cleaned by the guest before you, which is gross! I basically entered the place and had to start cleaning. The host was also quite rude when I told him that this was unhygienic, especially in times of COVID. He told that the I was paying a cheap price to stay there so I should not expect them cleaning after each guest! Honestly, the place didn't come cheap, considering that it's not on the French Riviera... I informed Booking before the start of my stay. They said they contacted the host regarding the cleaning of the flat because that should not happen. Nothing happened, as expected!

The location was great and you had everything you would need, beside soap, bed sheets, not even toilet paper. That’s a pity!

The property was not clean. You can see easily that nobody come to clean it after previous guests and it was not pleasant for us, especially we came with a baby

Exceptional

Great view on the ocean in a new and smart furnished apartment with all necessary kitchen equipment. The checkin was easy, thanks to the detailed instructions of Erik, the host. The area is well suited to go out for dinner, since several bars and restaurants are nearby. We got offered to check in earlier and enjoyed a great weekend close to Brugge.

Supergezellige studio met prachtig uitzicht. Perfect voor een solo weekendje weg, maar ik zou zeker ook nog eens terugkomen met mijn partner!

Als ik iets moet zeggen, dan zou ik aanraden om een veegborstel ter beschikking te stellen. Dit zou het poetsen iets gemakkelijker maken. :-)

Einfach schön.

Für ein bis zwei Personen ist das Studio ausreichend, die sicht direkt an der Promenade Phänomenal. Vorne aus der Tür raus und direkt an der Promenade. Links ein paar meter nach Westkerke rechts richtung Middelkerke und Ostende. Einfach Herrlich !

Die Lage ist unschlagbar ,vom Bett aus schaut man auf die Nordsee. Westende kann man zu Fuß erreichen Middelkerke auch.Die Tram hält direkt um die Ecke

Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een toptijd aan zee

Het zicht op de zee en de duinen… wel jammer van het “te koop” bord op de raam dat het mooie zicht belemmerde. De keuken is goed uitgerust, fijne tv, goeie douche. Het was ook heel rustig en stil in gans het appartement. Wij verbleven er van maandag tot donderdag en konden gratis voor de deur op de dijk parkeren. De goede ligging, op het einde van de hoogbouwrij, waardoor een prachtig zicht op de zee en de duinen incl het beeldenpark met rechts Middelkerke, links Westende en net achter je de duinen om te ontdekken. Goeie prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Bij aankomst was het voetenmatje nog nat en niet schoon… kruimels in de magnetron… en sokken onder het zetelbed. Mogelijks van de vorige gasten, aangezien we het appartement schoon moeten achter laten. Het matras van het zetelbed en de kussens zijn niet de kwaliteit van een standaard bed. Maar het zicht maakt veel goed.
