We had a lovely stay at Renée and Patrick's troglodyte house which is by far the most atypical holiday home we had ever stayed at! Be aware that the quaint layout and the rustic feel won't necessarily work for a family with young children or people with limited mobility, but we absolutely loved it! Parnay is a charming little place and the surrounding countryside offers many opportunities for delightful walks and cycle rides amongst the vineyards. There are lots of scenic villages and towns in the immediate surroundings, not to mention quick car rides to many Loire valley historical highlights. Last but not least, the nearest bakery sells great bread and yummy treats ;) We would definitely recommend staying at Renée and Patrick's troglo-verts! They gave us a warm welcome and made sure everything was going smoothly. Thanks to both of them!

Le gîte était frais et confortable dans la chaleur estivale. Le jardin clos nous a été très utile avec nos chiens et il y a un bon chemin le long de la Loire pour promener les chiens. Bon quartier pour la dégustation de vins et de nombreux restaurants assez proches.
