About this apartment rental
This very bright top floor apartment, which boasts a large rooftop terrace with an amazing view over buildings and monuments, is a charming property located in a recently renovated 19th Century building in the historic centre of Palermo.
Our apartment is located on the third floor of a building, easily reachable by lift. The entrance gives way to a large living area made of a living room, provided with sofa and armchairs situated nearby the marble fireplace (not usable), and a bright dining area with dining table and chairs. Here, guests can taste delicious meals prepared in the adjacent and fully equipped kitchen, coming with an oven, microwave and dishwasher. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms: the first, fitted with a queen-sized bed, boasts an ensuite bathroom while the latter has a French-sized bed. Another full bathroom completes the floor.
The added value is given by the large terrace overlooking the surrounding rooftops and historical monuments, that can be found walking up the staircase in the living area. Equipped with barbecue and furnished with a gazebo and ornamental plants, is the ideal space for breakfast moments, relaxing or enjoying dinners full of atmosphere. At Kalsa Charme apartment our guests will find a welcome kit at home and everything they may need to fully enjoy their stay in the house.
*The building next to the accommodation is currently subject to renovation and painting. Due to these renovation works, some noise could occur during the day.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful Unesco heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.
Our apartment is less than 15 minutes walking distance from the main railway station, where guests will also find the bus stop for the airport shuttle. Before your arrival, we will send you more information on places to go, what to see and taste. Please do not hesitate to ask!

The house itself was beautiful, the neighborhood was a little loud from construction and a good long walk to local restaurants and piazzas.

Just like photos except second bathroom is huge with tub, and second bedroom is small with ¾ bed. Lots of storage everywhere, obviously someone's secondary home designed with care. Greeted with personal note from owner plus TWO fruit platters/bowls plus fridge and pantry with lots of food. NEVER had such a gracious host before. Wonderful terrace upstairs with covered table and chairs. Large French doors in almost every room for light and air, and windows that open in the two others (kitchen, master bath.)... Wish we had known there was a small grocery on our street a block away instead of schlepping to Aldi's 20 minutes away... Mgr is very responsive, best to text... Noise from street below at night (if you like cracked windows) AND water pump noise so bring your white noise app/ear protection for sleeping.

The location of this apartment is just wonderful, not only we were able to walk to a lot of places, but more importantly we felt like locals.
There are two fabulous cathedrals just across the street from us, daily wedding ceremonies were held there, we walked into a 50s wedding anniversary ceremony as well, we chatted with locals with my broken Italian and they were all so nice to us... it simply felt home.

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen stocked with more than we could have imagined. We hardly had to shop for anything. The location was great as it was not in the thick of the tourist area but we easily walked to all the main attractions. Thank you for a lovely stay!
