Quirky and comfortable but car essential

Quirky home, clean, good facilities, quiet location, good security

The owner could provide information regarding local buses and the location of services such as shops for food. As an English speaking visitor, it is hard work with a lot of trial and error. The location is pretty, but not having a car is a very distinct disadvantage for this house. Plenty of other reviewers made mention of this, so we should have taken it seriously. Be prepared for lots of (pleasant) walking and unreliable buses. The wifi was erratic over our 4 day stay, and despite reading the complex washing machine manual, it was impossible to use the drying function.

- The place is in a high place and in the weekend we went, there was just one van to climb the mountain where the house stays, this van worked in specific times and not close time. So if you have difficulty on walking or heavy bags, you need to plan your trip to arrive in the house, for us everything went right

Overall it is a cool place with good views. Pretty good area if you have a car, but you really do need a car.

No toiletries, dish soap, paper towels, bottle opener. Bottle opener and dish soap provided next day on request. Place was decently clean, but could have been better. The dishes had residue, some of them sticky. Wi-Fi is very poor. Couch is old and worn. Lighting is not great. Visible wiring poking out of odd places.

Perfect place for couples with (motor)bikes

Perfect location with a great view on Lake Como, Cernobbio and Como. Would recommend bringing binoculars to look over the lake. The bed was very good and the bathrooms clean and functional. The private parking space was very useful. The apparent has a garage big enough for a small car or a trailer with motorbikes. Would 100% recommend this place for (motor)cyclists who like to keep their bikes stored safe and dry. The entry of the garage is a bit hard though.

The coffeemakers (percolator) were old and not functioning well. Would recommend bringing your own coffeemaker. Although the appartement was very clean overall, there were still cobwebs in some corners of the appartement but nothing too bothering.

I loved the place. It is clean , amazing views , full of amenities and great decoration. Betty from the apt management company waited for me to give me the keys the first day. You will need a car to get there because it is located in a hill. For that you will enjoy an amazing view from the living room. For sure you will satisfied renting this apartment

3 km oberhalb des Ortes, sonst alles super

Sehr charmant, toller Blick über den See , super Ausstattung.

Die Lage knapp 3 km außerhalb/ oberhalb des Ortes , 10 Minuten enge Serpentinen, sollte explizit beschrieben werden. Da der letzte Bus 18.30 fährt, die Restaurants abends frühestens 18 Uhr beginnen, bedeutet dies 35-40 Minuten Spazieren bergauf. Der Spaziergang morgens in den Ort ist schön und mit tollen Ausblicken.

Appartement bien placé, propre, bien équipé et avec une belle vue

La vue sur le Lac et les indications claires pour arriver jusqu'à l'appartement. La mise à disposition des ventilateurs à chaque étage. Mais un pré checking du véhicule utilisé pourrait être utile. Avec un Qashqai, je suis passé mais avec un véhicule plus grand l'arrivée pourrait être compliquée. J'ai aimé aussi la mise à dispo de bouteilles d'eau, des produits de lavage, de sopalin et un équipement fonctionnel.

Un système d'air conditionné serait top, même si pas forcément indispensable. Les lits sont un peu durs que ce soit en haut ou en bas. Le manque de couverts/ assiettes. Nous étions 4 et on a fait tourner le lave-vaisselle ou laver à la main plus que nécessaire. De plus pour cuisiner au four ou avec une poêle l'équipement est un peu juste.

La Casa Rossa, un lieu de villégiature pittoresque et confortable

La maison est perché au-dessus du lac de Côme et permet d’avoir une vue sur le lac. L’intérieur est aménagé de manière soigné. On peut rejoindre l’embarcadère de Cernobbio par une série de petites rues pentues mais praticables. Le wifi est bien meilleur qu’annoncé par certains commentaires.

La rue d’accès à la place de parking est étroite et un peu impressionnante.

Departamento en la montaña para llegar SOLO si te moves en auto

El departamento es amplio y comodo. Tiene 2 baños y lo hace ideal para cualquier familia. La vista desde el piso de arriba es bonita porque se ve el lago. Esta muy calefaccionado y la presion de agua es optima.

Hice el check in personalmente en las oficinas que se encargan de admninistrar este departamento (lo cual seria dificultoso si no te moves en auto como nosotros). Completado el check in nos dirigimos al departamento para retirar la llave de la caja fuerte con el codigo previamente indicado. Al abrirlo, nos encontramos con la sorpresa de que LA LLAVE NO ESTABA EN LA CAJA. Tuvimos que aguardar 30 minutos con las valijas en la calle para que alguien de la administracion viniera a traer las llaves. Este tipo de errores, son inaceptables, y perdimos un tour que teniamos contratado por esta demora, suamda la demora de ir hasta la oficina. Nadie se hizo cargo de esta perdida. Por otro lado, el camino para llegar hasta el departamento es extremadamente estrecho y dificultoso. Deberian advertir esto para familias que se mueven en camionetas grandes y dificiles de maniobrar por estos caminos. Ademas, sin vehiculo es imposible hospedarse alli, dado que no tenes forma de traslado hasta la base de la montaña, y arriba no hay ningun lugar para comprar nisiquiera primeros auxilios. Los colchones son directamente un papel, dormis sobre tablas.
