The accommodation
Located in Calheta, Madeira island, Paradise House Calheta is a modern and luxurious property which offers Magnificent views over the sea and mountain. Featuring free Wi-Fi, the house features includes a big private garage, 3 spacious double bedrooms, 3 big sized bathrooms 1 bathroom includes a hot tub which is very relaxing and an elegant living room.
Includes a garden, around the house there’s lots of different beautiful species of flowers, such as "Lady Slipper” which is one of the most traditional Madeiran Christmas flowers, there’s also plenty of wonderful Orchids.
The Setting
Paradase House Calheta is located in the municipality of Calheta you can get to Calheta beach in only 2 minutes by car our 15 minute walk. You can also get to the mountains in 10 minutes by car, these mountains have the best hikes you can do in Madeira Island “25 fontes - Risco”. Calheta has the best climate in our Island, which makes it very beneficial to go to the beach and to hike around our magnificent mountains and "Levadas".
Nearly the house there's a cultural center, a template library, hospital, sand beach, supermarket, a museum, walking trails, snack bars, restaurants, gym, sea trips for watching wales and dolphins.

Other things to consider
The southwestern coast of Madeira (Calheta) is ideal for all those, looking for unspoilt nature and the warmest climate, far away from the usual tourism centres. In the winter season it still offers very moderate temperatures so that you can even swim in the atlantic nearby. You reach the sea by an artificial sandy beach, built in 2006 with imported sand from Marocco. Beside the beach you find the Marina with bars and restaurants and elegant yachts. From here you can start several excursions by boat.
An old sugar cane factory is working once a year (march/april) but open throughout the whole year, you can taste the products made in the factory.
For all those who like to walk, here is the ideal place to start: the national park Rabaçal - Worlds nature heritage (UNESCO) - is perfect for Levada walks such as “25 fontes / Risco waterfall”. Here you find our beautiful florist which is called "Floresta Laurissilva" here you can enjoy the unspoilt nature.
Depending on the time you visit us there’s endless activities to do, you can assist to religious celebrations or to various events on the island, like Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Carnival, Flower Party and plenty more.

Location excellent for visiting the west of the island. Supermarket within easy driving distance. Secure garage parking at accommodation. Very comfortable & spacious accommodation. Simone was an attentive host - cake, bananas & wine much appreciated.Nothing negative to report - construction work ongoing next door but wasn't intrusive

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Paradise House! We loved the beautiful house, which had stunning views of Calheta and the sunset.
Simone was an excellent and friendly host, and she made us feel very welcome during our stay. She responded to any questions we had very promptly, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time.
We highly recommend this house to anyone planning on visiting Madeira!

Paradise House was the perfect home from home for my family. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace was incredible. The house was equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfortable and it's very spacious. Simkne was a wonderful host, very attentive and accommodating.
It is best to have a car, but if you don't, there are cabs near by, and the bus stop is just a short walk down the hill.
We would love to stay here again when we return to Madeira. Don't hesitate to book your stay. Here.
