Alegria Kefalonia

We've had a fabulous stay at Alegria, our first time here and we'd recommend it without hesitation. We booked the slightly bigger room on the first floor which was perfect for us for our 13 nights stay and the view spectacular. Super quiet location and just a pleasant 15 min walk to the little mini markets, tavernas and beach. We often found we'd have the pool to ourselves, but all guests were quiet and respectful, many of them returners, which says a lot about this accommodation. Breakfasts were a lovely addition and plenty for us. We loved having our lunch on our little balcony with that gorgeous view and a glass of rosé..perfect! Many thanks to Chris, Dimitris and family for your hospitality and thanks also to your super efficient cleaner who kept the poolside and rooms spotlessly clean.

Great location. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The cleaner was excellent. Chris and Dimitri were helpful and served the wonderful breakfast with a smile every day. A great standard. The beds were fantastic and the air conditioning was excellent. I wouldn't call it self catering. You could prepare cereal and tea or coffee but you couldn't cook anything if that's what you were looking for.

The only problem we hasd was the terrible patio furniture and the lack of privacy on the patio being in the central room. Also no shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc.

Lovely tranquil place to stay nice pool area and gardens. Excellent breakfast choice freshly cooked for you each morning, Very nice owners and cleaning staff. Cannot fault Alegria and good value for the money you pay.😎😊

Everything. It’s an oasis of tranquility in beautiful countryside but only 15 minutes walk to the village (and all the tavernas) and to the sea. The pool was always quiet because it’s a small property so few guests. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
