Edelweiss Residence

This is by far the most satisfying accommodation I’ve had during my multiple trips to Sri Lanka. The room is spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The private entrance via a separate staircase ensures great privacy. Both the AC and WiFi worked perfectly, and the bathroom has reliable hot water. I particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchenette, the abundance of power outlets, and the cozy seating area. The bed is large and super comfortable. The hosts and staff are wonderful—always ready to help with any request. It’s just a 5-6 minute walk to the main street and very close to the beach. Highly recommended!

It may use a solar water heater, so the water is a bit cooler in the mornings and evenings. Still, it was perfectly fine for me.

Room was spacious and bathroom was quite big. Located amidst greenery. Host was very nice, answered all our queries. He arranged transportation for us from Colombo. Walkable distance to Hikkaduwa beach and restaurants.

There was a cockroach and a spider in the bathroom. It could be because the hotel is in a garden.

Большое спасибо за комфорт и отзывчивость хозяину отеля! Отдыхала с большой компанией, но жила отдельно от всех одна 2 недели. Очень комфортный номер с кухней. В номере есть холодильник, тостер, чайник, посуда, в общем, всё для комфортной жизни. В душе всегда есть теплая вода. Да, немного шумный кондиционер, но я быстро привыкла и он не мешал. Небольшая, но аккуратная и ухоженная территория. Немного переживала за трансфер (просила заказать и по прилету и обратно в аэропорт), но встретили с табличкой четко ко времени и так же проводили. Водитель очень приветливый пунктуальный молодой человек. Это не первая линия, до моря нужно идти минут 5, но именно в этом месте пляж подходит для купания (песок и не такие сильные волны). Так же рядом магазины, кафе. Если буду на Шри-Ланке обязательно вернусь сюда!

Всё было отлично

Der gesamte Umfang in der Edelweiss Residenz hat unsere Vorstellung übertroffen. Das Zimmer resp. das kleine Appartement kommt einem 5 Sterne Hotel gleich oder besser. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und in jeder Situation sofort hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ruhig und die Umgebung sehr gepflegt. Ab vom Trubel, ist man in 5 Minuten zu Fuss am Strand.

Wir wüssten nicht, was man noch besser machen kann. Unsere Vorstellung wurde übertroffen und somit waren unsere Anliegen völlig abgedeckt.
