Apartment in the Gantry Hall - W19

Genial!! Con todas las comodidades, todo al detalle muy bien equipado, no le falta detalle. La cama muy cómoda, con terracita. El apartamento es muy tranquilo y silencioso situado en la zona del barrio judío con un montón de sitios para comer y cenar alrededor. Ubicación inmejorable. El anfitrión nos permitió salir un pelín más tarde del apartamento y se lo agradecemos enormemente. Recomiendo totalmente este apartamento!!

Amazing location, beautiful building, nicely designed flat, very comfortable, good communication with the hosts. Wine bottle was a nice touch.

The flat was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival: hair in the sink and in the shower, quite a lot of dust everywhere.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Krakow. It’s close to major tram routes and still quiet, with 24/7 convenience stores at either end of the street too. It was clean airy and spacious, and smelt lovely when we opened the door to see the bottle of wine waiting for us on the table :-) The main bed is very comfortable - there was a pull-out bed in the wardrobe and a cot too - and air conditioning to make it comfortable in the warmer weather. This is now our preferred base for visits to the city. The building feels very secure as well - reassuring for single travellers - but be aware that there are apparently 2 entrances with the same name! We got caught out with that when leaving, as apparently the car entrance is around the back. This might not catch anyone else out, but we have a friend in Krakow who went to the wrong door to pick us up, resulting in a few minutes of us each wondering where the other was :-)

Nothing - this is a great place to stay!

The location is excellent, 60m to Duffy's Irish Pub and there are foodstands right across the street. 200m to a Zubka store, though it wasn't open thursday for some technical reason. A short walking distance to just about everything in Kazimierz. Location is quite peaceful though, no noise from traffic, nightclubs, etc. There were waterbottles in the fridge (fridge wasn't on though) and a complementary bottle of white wine, so that was nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfy enough. Neighbors were quiet except the drilling a-hole. The washing machine and the dishwasher are easy to use.

There was only one key, I called the owners representative for another. We agreed that the 2nd key would be in the keylocker at 6pm. It wasn't. But next morning it was, so that was good. On the balcony there are these plastic chairs and the other one broke down as my friend sat on it. Little bit in a panic I immediately phoned the rep, but nobody came to look at it or to change it. No comments about it at all, so we didn't know do we have to pay for it or not. I guess not, as it was a little bit old and weakened by the sunlight. Friday morning 8.32 AM the neighbor started drilling the wall. OMG. Couldn't sleep after that. They also drilled in the evening, but we were mostly out that time. There were quite a bit pollen at the balcony, so we had to mop everything first. The shower has quite low waterpressure and adjusting the temperature is very sensitive with a delay. The lock on the door works a little differently than in Scandinavia, but not a big thing.
