Good apartment for family

Very nice place to stay!

We liked everything!) Really nice apartment, very comfortable bed, enough space for two people. Everything was convenient and even more than expected! In the bathroom, there were shower gels, shampoos, and a hairdryer. There was also a fridge with some light refreshments kindly provided — a very nice gesture. A small coffee machine and a kettle were also available. The TV worked well, and we appreciated the blackout blinds since our room faced the sunny side. And most importantly, the air conditioning was a real lifesaver in such hot weather! A very polite young man welcomed us at reception — thank you to him! He kindly let us check in early and gave us helpful advice.

The cons outbid the pros and I definitely do not remcommend this hotel at all.

The room was lovely, spacious and clean.

The area the hotel is located is dangerous and quite dirty. Saw syringes on the floor walking nearby the hotel and junkies in an alley doing drugs. The room is not sound proof at all. Could not sleep at all because of the noise. It felt like a window was left opened and we could hear everything from cars to people screaming in the street. Our taxi driver confirmed to us that the area was dangerous and to definitely stay indoors anytime past 10pm.

fair but a bit pricey

The space of the room and the bathroom, the little fridge and kettle, the air conditioner.

The bed is not very comfortable and the room is not soundproofed (at night you can hear too much noise from the street and other rooms). The lift of the building is somewhat dangerous. I had to stay in that location for work (this is why I had selected it) but the area is dirty, poorly serviced and it can be pretty scary at night: I didn't like at all the room locking system, in my opinion is not very safe. I would have preferred a key.

The fact that they dont mention anywhere that the balconies are non-smoking and they only say after you book! There is a fine for smoking on the balconies!!!!

Better than expected

The boat got into contact with us and provided all the information necessary to access the accommodation. It was a large room, clean and modern with all the amenities we could hope for. In a busy part of Athens that is well connected to public transport and easy to get everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, however due to being in a busy area street noise and noise from the apartment was a small issue.

The accommodation only provided a thin sheet to sleep with. We would have preferred at least a blanket as the room is too hot without the aircon but hard to sleep under a sheet with the aircon on.

This property was amazing, great big space for 2 people. Bed was comfortable, shower and bathroom was great size. There was a lounge space and TV. Had great views as well.

It was a little walk to a train station (5-10 mins). There was construction on the building roof at 1am until 4am so you were unable to sleep. This was quite frustrating and something we were only told about late that evening.

Nice affordable location in Athens

The room was very nice and big and had all the amenities you would need. The check in progress and check out was easy and the staff was helpful. It’s quite close to town, around 10-15 minutes and the furthest we had to walk was around 40 min so it’s easy getting to all the must see sites in Athens by foot.

The hotel was quite noise, we could both hear the traffic outside quite loudly. There is also not much soundproofing between rooms, we could hear a lot of noise from the rooms above or next to us which sometimes kept us up at night a bit. Even though the hotel is also quite central the area around it is a bit sketchy.

Climbing the stairs in the dark. Motion sensors to turn the lights on would be helpful. There was probably a light switch somewhere but we couldn't see it in the dark.

Nice stay

Clean hotel, very nice staff at reception. Room was really quiet and was not disturbed by any other guest or rooms. We had a view on Acropolis. The bathroom had spacious shower enclosure. The location was fine in terms of being as close to metro (2min) and walking distance to city centre (15-20min). However we found the neigbourhood of Monastiraki dirty with lots of abandoned buildings, that might not be very comfortable for late night walks for some (especially lone) travellers. But this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. We didn't mind the location's cons and got used to it after 1st day. The hotel is convenient choice for the price.

There was a construction going on within the building and we had to put up with all disturbing drilling noise for a short period. Have we not informed the reception they would have probably lasted longer and good thing it was addressed promptly.
