An idyllic French getaway in the hills of the Ardeche region.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, always relaxed and good natured, willing to help with any issues and answering questions immediately. The meals we ate, breakfast and table d'hote dinners were excellent value; always using local produce and locally sourced cheese and wine.

Nice place in a nice region, but consider the rules when booking with kids

Nice, spacious duplex appartment. Clean and well equiped. Good location in a nice village and a very nice region. Hosts were understanding when we arrived late due to circumstances.

Right after booking, we got warned off with the message that our kids cannot shout, cry or jump in the property. While before booking it was writing that kids off all ages are welcome. If we wouldn't be able to control our kids we were advised to cancel. Without refund! This seemed dishonest. We were careful, but when our kids ran around inside one day for 5 minutes in the middle of the day, we immediately received a warning. Furthermore, you get an extensive list of things to do and don't do. And everything is labeled with quite redundant warnings. The host are clearly protective of their stuff, which I understand, but it doesn't contribute to a relaxing holiday atmosphere. If you don't like people in your place, than don't rent it out.

Fantastic top renovated modern and clean apartment of 70 sqm. Superb location and friendly and accommodating hosts.

Poor

We did not take a shower or used the kitchen. There was a penalty of 50 euro per hour to clean if the property was not left clean enough. We just used the beds without touching anything else. It was a weird experience. Also, the jacuzzi was promoted but was not available to access.

Des gîtes spacieux, lumineux, très propres et très bien équipés. Des règles fixées pour le bien de tous qui contribuent à un séjour respectueux !

Tout était très bien. Quelques suggestions : un jeu de clé supplémentaire pour plus d’indépendance dans la famille ; un cahier pour réserver le jacuzzi afin de savoir qui déroge aux consignes…

Nous avons pris un repas en table d'hôte, très bonne cuisine , à un prix très abordable. Parking pratique, c'est un beau bâtiment. La région est à découvrir
