Holiday home Veneta

Thanks a lot for nice stay at this home. The home is nicely situated in quiet residential area 2.5 km by nice walking pad to the sea beaches and old city of Porec. Swimming pool is great and very nicely maintained. House is big and fully independent from the other part of the house. WIFI and air-conditioning are working without any problems!

If you would like to make experience even more nice, it would be great to add some plates and some kitchen equipment. There is no dish-wash machine neither, but it's not the big problem :) Take care about mosquitos - there are a lot in this area...

The hosts (Boris, his mother and brother) were extremely nice and welcoming. We were in touch via email and whatsapp beforehand and he gave us advice on how to get there. His mother welcomed us upon arrival. Everyone spoke very good English. The next day Boris came over to bring us some products of the area to try (new wine, olive oil, liquor, a water melon). We were especially touched when his mother baked a cake for my mother's 70th birthday (she had seen it on her ID) that we were celebrating there together. The house is well equipped, nothing was missing. We stayed with 5 people and it was comfortable and spacious. The pool is wonderful, the water was just a bit cold when we were there (the last guests in the end of September) but I can only imagine how nice it is during the very hot summer days. It's very clean and illuminated at night. A few more things that I always find useful to know: - the internet was very reliable - there was a coffee machine, an oven and a micro wave - nice parking lot in front of the house - hot water - we didn't have to turn on the A/C but it looked new - no street noise, just some barking dogs - the TV had a lot of channels, also many in other languages - everything is clean and well maintained

The only thing that comes to my mind are the mosquitos. Several mosquito repellants (something to burn, something to put in the outlet) were provided in the house but I do recommend to bring creme or spray. We went there in September, don't know how it is at other times of the year.

Very, very friendly hosts, warm welcome. The private pool is great, the bbq was ready to use, aircon made it comfortably cool inside. Various hypermarkets nearby, Porec only few minutes by car.

Wonderful place. Maybe a little far from the sea, but the swimming pool completely compensates for its distance. Hosts a delight. We are happy to be back.
