Where to start? Perhaps with Carmen, as the most gracious of hosts! She helped us organise everything, had excellent local recommendations, and showed us the warm welcoming hospitality that seems common across beautiful Portugal. We can't thank and recommend her enough, as a host and an amazing person! Truly went above and beyond any expectations we ever could have had. The villa itself was perfect for our large group of friends. We hosted a wedding one day with local catering, photographer etc, spent the next day relaxing around the villa and pool, and the last day enjoying the festival in nearby Loule. The most memorable of stays!

Carmen was the most amazing host!! She was attentive and helpful with anything we needed from questions about the villa to arranging travel for day trips! We had a beach wedding in Quarteira and the reception at the villa where we stayed with friends and family. Carmen was super helpful prior to our stay with recommendations for catering and DJs. It made it so simple for us since we were coming from the United States. The best part was the caterers and DJ had already done events there prior and knew exactly what to do. It took so much stress off. I loved that the villa was in a quiet area and very private. Not to mention it was GORGEOUS and very spacious for a party of 25 people!! We were all able to spread out and have our own spaces. There were ample bathrooms and kitchens! I can’t say enough good things about the villa or Carmen! I highly recommend a stay here, it was perfection!

Lovely, clean and spacious villa. It had everything we needed. Carmen was very helpful and informative both leading up to our stay and during. She organised airport transfers for us and her Father was waiting at the villa to meet us. Taxis are cheap and easy to flag down if you don't fancy the 30 minute walk to the marina. The supermarket is a bit closer. On the marina we ate and drank at the Mayflower, Mariscada, Gavea and Atlantic Piano Bar and would recommend all of them. On the beach we went to Buzios Beach Bar for drinks but it was extremely busy and we waited ages to be served so never ate there although the food looked lovely. Overall we were impressed with the villa. We hope to return to Vilamoura and would love to stay at this villa again :)
