La Locanda

This is a very charming place, it is suitable for couples and lone travelers alike. My room was surprisingly nice and very bright with a balcony facing the mostly pedestrian street in front and a church. It was spacey and well appointed. The bathroom is separate and shared but It seems they only have 4 rooms, so it is not an issue, the place looks like a converted apartment to a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was next door and included one croissant, one juice and any coffee you wanted, one serving of each. The location is close to everything, right in the old town, and close to the train station. I definitely recommend this place and Roberto was a great host as well.

The bed was a bit sunken, probably it is old and needs to be replaced. It was two single beds made into one, so not the most comfortable setup, but it was ok for me.

Requested early booking for 2-3am on 18th with booking.com also hotel. Was agreed and confirmed but when arrived at that time there was mix up no room available. We were very tired after travelling all day so wasn’t very happy they agreed we could sleep on settee in communal sitting room until next morning. Also checked out of hotel 17th not the 18th august. The staff were pleasant but our room wasn’t cleaned at all over the week. We had to ask for clean towels. Sheets weren’t changed at all over the week.

Not given clean towels, sheets were t changed or room cleaned, mix up early check in had to sleep on settee.

Location perfect and Roberto, the owner is a star and super helpful.

Pretty old and could be kept in a better state, main door should be closed and sharing (I did not read that bathrooms were sharing)
