Location is stunning but the stand of accommodation is lacking.

Million dollar view, central location and car park included. Owners parents were helpful and friendly.

Amenities, furnishings and decor are on in need of updating. No instructions provided for facilities - eg dishwasher, TV etc. Not well stocked with necessary provisions such as dishwashing liquid or tablets, bathroom amenities. Chipped bowls and plates, not enough mugs/cups etc, uncomfortable sofa. Not enough power points for charging etc.

It was fine, sleep was comfortable but facilities are dated

Wasn’t the room we expected but it did the trick for two nights. Very simple but very dated (maybe it’s an Island thing). The location makes this ideal for a basic stay as it was a 5 minute easy walk from the ferry. It was also pretty quiet despite being in a multi-unit apartment block. We were there in October and so no real party scene (which we’re not into) but I think this would’ve been a good quiet spot during the summer as it’s just outside the main hub. We were able to leave our bags in a private, safe area of the property until we were to leave on the ferry. The host and his parents were very friendly.

Communication was tough. We had to message Grgo every different way to let him know we arrived and then again asking about check out. Both times we waited outside the property for a response. But again, Island time 😊 His parents helped us out each time and everything turned out fine - it was just a tad annoying. The door locks are not easy to figure out and only one person can have a shower as the hot water tank is tiny.

We had an amazing time, cooked several meals, spent every evening watching the amazing sunset from the patio and morning

The host greeted us at the property and told us key locations such as the grocery store. The patio with sea view was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The drying rack for clothes was convenient. The kitchen was well equipped.

The kitchen light was out, we ran out of fuel for the stove.

The location was perfect, 3 minute walk from the boat and 5 minute walk to the town centre. The view from our terrace was incredible we found it hard to leave the apartment because we just sat and watched the sunset every night. Could not recommend this apartment enough.

The best location in the Town!

Absolutely perfect properly. So close to the port and on a quiet bay, only five minute walk to the main square. Absolutely book this place. The picture is the view from the balcony. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing

Stunning sea views; brilliant location; spacious apartment and wonderful hosts!!

The apartment was in a brilliant location to the ferry and centre of Hvar Town. It is only a 5 minute walk to the apartment when we came off the ferry. It is very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with all items to prepare your meals. The best part was the balcony with gorgeous sea views - a wonderful place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee in the morning. Late afternoon is a bit tricky as with the setting sun, it is quite blinding to sit there. Would be great to have some sort of umbrella to block out the sun but still be able to sit there with a cool drink in hand. The hosts were attentive and easy to talk too. I really appreciated their help with our laundry. WIFI is strong; beds comfortable. All in all we highly recommend this apartment.

Great property, great location, even better host

Everything. It was incredibly well situated. The view from the Balcony is excellent all the facilities were clean and in great condition and you could tell they had been recently refurbished. Grgo met us at the property and couldn’t have been more accommodating, had a town map with helpful local tips for us also. This was our 2nd time in Hvar and we got so much more from it by following him. Other small touches he made during our stay, we can quite honestly say best host we’ve ever had from any kind of property.

Fantastic views of the Monastery and water

The location is really good and the view is amazing. The apartment is quite spacious and has a very big balcony with direct view to the water as there is only olive groves between the two.

The kitchen is very outdated and not so well equipped. The water in the shower sometimes does not warm up.

A great place to stay

The location was perfect. Quieter end of Hvar but very close to the beach 2 minutes walk and your on promenade that runs along the entire waterfront where the ferry port is also Bus station is only a 10 minute walk. The apartment had a lovely little deck to the side with sea views. Grgo was very informative about the area and recommended a great seafood restaurant called Maestro away from the hub which was very good.

The Best !

The location is right by the beach and a quick walk to grocery store, shops and restaurants. It was so nice to have our own kitchen and terrace to watch the boats go by all day long. The sun came out on the terrace by late afternoon so it was the perfect spot away from the crowd. The water is close to go for a dip or stay for a while if you want. The hosts are exceptional and make you feel like you're at home! If you're looking for a place that feels like home away from home this is it.

Its location exceeded our expectations with almost no stairs and 5 minutes walk from the Ferry Port

We had an awesome experience in staying at Apartments Grgo. Its location exceeded our expectations, as it was just a 5 minutes walk from the Ferry port and did not require hiking up almost any steps (which is a rarity in Hvar). But even better yet, it is located off of a quiet walking path, just outside of the heavily trafficked main port tourist area, yet still only a couple of minutes away from any dining, nightlife and all of the Hvar attractions. (It also happens to be very accessible by car - but that was not a priority for us as we arrived by Ferry). The host, Grgo, was super gracious and informative with his perfect English, as he met us with the keys upon our arrival. Grgo introduced us to our apartment and walked us through all of the amenities, and also introduced us to some awesome nearby dining opportunities. The apartment kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and any food / drink items can be purchased from two local supermarkets located less than a 10 minute walk away. The apartment was also very clean and the queen size bed very comfortable. The sea view at sunset from our balcony was an added bonus. We also traveled to Dubrovnik and Split, but in hindsight should have probably extended our stay in Hvar, as enjoying our short time at Apartments Grgo turned out to be the most memorable part of our trip to Croatia.

Superb

Nice place near with view on the samostan and a few steps to the heart of Hvar. Very calm for this central location. We stayed there for three days on our way to Korcula. Grgo is a very friendly host and introduced us very well. Thank you for the hint to visit Mlini beach by boat. We had a perfect day out there yesterday. Hope to see you again.

Spacious with view and calm & easy walk to centre & excellent parking

Location an easy walk without many steps, unusual in Hvar. Quiet except for a few late night resellers staggering home early in the morning at the weekend, always liable to be a problem in Hvar and this property is quieter than others we stayed in. Grgo and family were really helpful hosts, the room with balcony had a good view and was spacious. Perfect for a longer stay. Would stay here again

The view from this place is amazing: it was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The view from the balcony must be one of the best views from Hvar. The location is perfect, like two minutes from the port / center of Hvar. The apartment is very spacious and clean, very comfortable. The host is super nice, he gave me great advices on what to do and to see around. Everything was great and I can't wait to come back again. Thank you, Grgo! :-)

The place for the shower was not so good, I had always some water coming out, so the floor of the bathroom would get wet. But this is a minor issue.

Perfect location for some island life!

The location was amazing. So close to the ferry, nice view of the harbor. Large, comfortable apartment. Grgo was our contact person and in charge, but his parents live on property and were so kind and helpful. We desperately needed to do laundry by this point in our trip from the extremely hot days, and laundry is on the premises. His mom actually did our laundry for us! We loved the terrace, the location, the friendly help from Grgo. He offered us a drink or cocktail upon arrival and leaves the bar area open for you to make your own drinks or take a bottle of wine back to your apt. A relaxed place in a great location perfect for island life on Hvar.

Amazing location and sunset views

Amazing location with walking distance to the harbor, but not on a large hill like many others with water views. 30 seconds to the beach and 3 mins walk to the town centre. The balcony was a great place to sit and watch the sunset.

If someone is staying in the second room just be aware there is no air-con directly in that room.

The bathroom door was broken, the sheets and towels felt hard and scratchy. The front door was hard to lock.
