Malacuna Peniche

Location, staff, food, room and communication before and during were on point.. Would definitely come back stay at Malacuna

We were sleeping in a lot and I have to say that it can be a bit noisy sometimes because other guest kept slamming their doors at night and during the day. Not the hotels fault at all but still a bit annoying

I liked the vibe in the Hostel a lot. The staff was helpful and nice to chat to. People from different backgrounds, everyone was kind and easy to talk to in the kitchen. The fact that they have a gym, laundromats, a skate park in the underground parking lot and even their own skating ramp was amazing!

I was however disappointed with the amount of hooks to hank towels on in the bathroom and in the balcony and the kitchen had some cleanliness issues.

Amazing place with a great vibe only marked down as the restaurant wasn’t running the night we arrived but they kindly accommodated us with breakfast and allowed us to stay to skate for a bit, overall stunning place with great staff!

Often (live) music at night

Super small kitchen. Not enough dishes pans etc. Staff just did their job and not more. Was more like a hotel reception staff. Not what im used to at a hostel. I stayed there for 2 weeks and they didn’t even say goodbye when I left. There is no good common space for the hostel guests. Hostel looks very big and nice but its the restaurants place. You have to pay additional fee for a lot: • Parking space • the coworking space • the gym Co working space is big but barely has windows. Super dark. There is plenty parking space on the road. Asking €12 p day for a parking spot is ridiculous when there is a free spot next to it. The gym has a ridiculous hourly fee.
