Himtrek Stays,Mcleodganj

I stayed in the mixed dormitory. The location is in between Dharamkot and McLeodganj and hence ideal to cover both by hike. The pine trees, wooden cabins and the short walk to reach Himtrek make it secluded sufficiently. Food and staff are amazing and I'd visit again.

The dormitory can be cleaner. The paint is falling off the walls, there are insects, and the general cleanliness is average.

From a staff perspective, everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and approachable. It truly felt like we were being treated as family rather than guests. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for going the extra mile in helping us organize our daughter’s first birthday celebration—the decorations were beautifully arranged, and the delicious cake you surprised us with was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Coming to the food, it was delightful throughout our stay. Every meal was well-prepared, served on time, and exceeded our expectations in both taste and quality. We were also fortunate to meet some amazing people—Mr. Anuj and Ms. Khushi—who made our experience even more memorable. Their friendly nature and constant support added a very personal touch to our stay. As for the property, it is truly beautiful—peacefully located, with stunning views of the valley and hills. It is perfectly located, the people running it are amazing, and we had so much fun playing badminton and basketball. The bonfire was exactly what I needed and to go along with it, the food was delicious.

Bonfire and staff is good they deliver at your room.

There was no water on our 2nd day of stay in bathroom to main pump. We had to mange via sink water. Cot is torn out. Locking door is biggest challenge.
