Laia House / Laia's house

The house is big, neat, spacious, with multiple terraces and balconies (shade and sun possible on both terraces). The house is also really well equipped: big kitchen with a lot of cutlery and all kinds of devices you can imagine, good airconditioning in all rooms, big living room with a big couch, television, Play-Station and also a couple of childrens/family games, et cetera. We were able to parallel park at the backside of the house (end of August/first half of September) on every day of our stay. And last but not least, superfriendly and helpful host!

We really enjoyed our stay! But if we have to name something: rust in dishwasher (we used it anyway), beds a bit soft

Really nice house for a family. Spacious and clean. Quiet neighborhood and has a nice view from the terrace. Lots of activities nearby, and many restaurants and shops. Nice sandy beach, 15-20 min. walk away.

Needs a new dishwasher, it is old and full of rust. If you have a car, it is not possible to park it on the ground. Other cars are allowed to park right outside the house, so your car will be trapped, if you park on the ground.

The house was spacious. Plenty of seating areas. Very modern inside and out. Very clean. Was in a quiet location. A few minutes walk to the beach.

Nothing

It was in November so Can Picafort was closed for the winter meaning that all houses had shutters in front of the windows and doors. It was therefore very quiet but that was fine with us. A few cafes were open and they were great. The owner had clearly made an effort in welcoming us so absolutely no complaints on that. The bath rooms were very nice and the kitchen work well. The master bedroom was the best room.

There is a water heater on the roof or in the neighbor's home and at 7am every morning during the week it made so much noise that we all had to get out of bed. This was a major issue for us and the heater in the living room didn't work upon arrival. It work 24-48 hours later. It would be nice to arrive to a warm and cozy house next time - especially when it the house is designed for hot summers and have stone floors. Perhaps the light in the kitchen could be changed to a warmer light as it felt very cold and non-cozy to be in there.
