About this apartment rental
Our bright and very spacious apartment is located on the first floor of a 2-family house with private entrance. We designed the apartment very open, so we only have a single bedroom but six comfortable sleeping options. Two modern bathrooms are available, one with tub, one with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, storage for bicycles, private entrance and stairwell, sunny balcony. From the balcony you look over our large garden to the Ruhr.
Sleep:
A large bedroom with double bed, 1.80 x 2.00 m. On request, a mattress could be added.
Living room:
Long-sleeper couch with super-comfortable box spring construction, 1.80 x 2.00 m or 0.80 + 1.00 m above the corner. At night, the sleeping area can be separated with a screen.
Study:
Sofa bed with soft topper, 2.00 x 1.40 m
Otherwise there is a large Smart TV (50 "), W-Lan, coffee and tea for free
Location:
Quiet, green location in a small residential area near the Ruhr, plenty of parking in front of the door. From here you can reach all the cities of the Ruhr area in a short drive, but also the Sauerland is on the doorstep. Numerous restaurants in the vicinity invite, but also the Borrussia Stadium is within easy reach. The connection by car is very good, only 5 min. to the ramp Schwerte-Ergste on the A 45, 20 min. to the center of Dortmund, 5 min. in the historic swords center with the well-known Rohrmeisterei. The bus, which stops almost in front of the house, takes you directly to the Schwerter Bahnhof.

The property is exactly as described. The location is a quiet neighborhood that is also good for walking. The owner is friendly and very good at communicating any updates throughout our stay. This was a great stay for me and my family.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, spacious and uncluttered and included all amenities one might need for an extended stay, including a clothes dryer which is often hard to find in European countries. The balcony with its ample room faces nature and one can even sneak a peek at the river & bike trail which is a short walk away. The host was gracious enough to allow us to park in the driveway, even though there is ample street parking. The property is in a great location, with quick highway access and country roads to the larger city Dortmund. And there are plenty of green spaces close by, including hiking trails, a unique mini golf place and the Hohensyburg grounds. If you are looking for a larger space in the area this is the spot to be. We will be sure to stay again if in the area.

This modern apartment is so spacious and airy, and is located in a nice quiet reidential area. Lovely view over the property owners garden to countryside beyond. Ideal location to use as a base for exploring the area, or just to relax and unwind. Dortmund is only 10-15 mins away by car, and Schwerte is only a few mins away. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.Thank you Dagmar, for the use of your lovely apartment and for the supplies of tea, coffee, sugar etc. We will certainly return here for a longer break next time!
