8 minute walk to to Kaminia / Mounda Beaches where idyllic sands and sparkling seas await you. This attractive villa is modern and bright. Located amid the countryside in the Ratzakli area of Kefalonia. It enjoys picturesque views from its pretty outdoor areas. The villa is central to the bustling village of Skala (3Kms) and the traditional fishing village of Katelios (3.5Kms).
The charming peach-painted exterior gives way to a fresh, airy interior, with an expansive sitting-kitchen-dining room on the ground floor. The sleek kitchen is superbly equipped, featuring a full dining table. The adjoining living area is comfortably furnished with sofas and a large screen TV. Full glass doors lead to the enticing and amply sized poolside terrace, which enjoys the sun for most of the day and looks out over trees to provide the perfect peaceful backdrop for sunbathing and al-fresco meals. The three bedrooms are finished in attractive style, each with ensuite bathrooms and balconies. The master suite looks out to the Ionian Sea with views of Zakynthos (Zante).

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Kefalonia. It’s absolutely perfect for families or groups of friends.The location is ideal – just a 5-minute drive (or around 20 minutes’ walk) to a fantastic beach bar and one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever visited. The water is a pure, brilliant turquoise, completely clear all the way to the bottom, and the shallows stretch far out, making it perfect and safe for children.The villa itself exceeded all our expectations. The photos honestly don’t do it justice – it is far more spacious and beautiful in real life. The pool was spotlessly clean, much larger than we expected, and gets the sun all day long. We especially loved the “rosé balcony” – the perfect spot to sit with a drink in the early evening.With a car, there are endless places to explore nearby – we found some incredible secluded beaches and coves. The villa was the perfect base for adventures, but also such a lovely place to simply relax and enjoy.The host was fantastic, and everything was made so easy for us. We normally stay in villas in Corfu each year, but this trip to Kefalonia and this villa has been our favourite family holiday ever. We will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Kefalonia and Villa Asterea. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed as a family of 5. The outside area was spotless and the pool was the perfect size. Kaminia Beach is a 5-minute drive and was probably the best beach that we visited. Ratzakli has a restaurant, which we visited 3 times, and is a 5-minute walk from the villa. Aristides was quick to respond to our questions before we travelled and he met us on our arrival for a tour of the villa and to handover the keys. We had a fabulous holiday and we’d highly recommend Villa Asterea to other holidaymakers.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well kept. Whenever we had questions help was only one text away. There was a cleaning service 1/2 way through the trip and a pool cleaner came regularly. It was a great place for a relaxing vacation. The Villa was also located very close to Kamania beach which is our favorite beach on the island. The only knock is that the beds were not the most comfortable, but they also could have been worse.
