About this house rental
A beautiful home in Hawthorn offering period features and modern conveniences, in a great location. Ducted Air Con, Heating. Relax and enjoy the sheer space with multiple living areas, two balconies, a garden area and the in-ground pool. Enjoy the quiet street whilst being so close to the CBD (8 kms). The tram arrives at the end of our street which will take you directly to Melbourne's iconic sporting precinct such as the MCG, AAMI Park, ETIHAD Stadium, and the CBD.
Our home is positioned in one of Melbourne's finest streets and will accommodate a large family or families and groups. There are several living spaces where everyone can relax and enjoy.
Free Wifi and Netflix is provided for your enjoyment and convenience.
The open plan kitchen and family room overlooks the garden, elevated area with outdoor lounge and a lagoon style in- ground pool. A secure driveway, electric gate and a keyed front gate will add to your security. The driveway can hold up to 4 x cars. Also on-street parking available ( some time limits apply) Public transport is easily accessible.. There are two tram lines at the end of our street which will take you straight into the CBD. Additionally, two train stations also close by (15 minute walk).
We have two fountains on the property, one in the front yard and one in the side courtyard. There is a catchment of water so please be mindful of , particularly with small children.
Restaurants & cafes are all a short stroll away. Enjoy the plentiful restaurants and boutique fashion stores on Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn or in Camberwell Junction. Take in a movie at our world-class Rivoli cinema, or head into the city. You will find a bike track and a playground within a few minutes walk and our home is only 8km to Melbourne CBD. Richmond is the next suburb out which is home to one of Melbourne's iconic night-life spots with plenty of restaurants and bars.
It may also be perfect for pre-wedding bridal parties, as you will be able to take some wonderful photos and there is certainly enough space to prep you and your bridal party for your big day, with wedding venues close by (Leonda By The Yarra, or the Botanical Gardens).

Travelled down from NSW for a catch up with friends and couldn’t be happier with the property.
Stunning house, beautiful gardens and the pool was great.
Communication with the host was prompt and considerate.
10/10 for our stay.

The house is a wonderful replica of a Victorian era home, plenty of space for family groups. We had a family of 5 and it was ample for us.
The pool was used by the younger crowd, however they noted it was deeper than it looks even for my over 6ft tall son.
Marie was a generous host allowing us to check in early due to flights arriving early.
The only recommendation and they are first world problems would be the towels being black would leave lots of lint behind, and maybe due to our request to access the house early it was dusty and there were a few cobwebs.
However, I would stay again. It’s close to the tram, cafes, and we went to an Italian restaurant called Mother Dough in Hawthorn which I would highly recommend as an alternative to the city. The suburb is very peaceful and quiet and all locals were friendly and happy.
Thank you Marie, I have no doubt we will be back. I loved the details of the house. Magnificent.

We were a mixed family group who came from all over the world for a family wedding. That everyone was able to all stay together in this amazing house made our catch up extra special. The house is fantastic - lots of space, well equipped, beautifully furnished. Absolutely loved it
