About this house rental
Preserved nature, calm and relaxed lifestyle are the watchwords of this place.
Whether you are sporty (possibility of golf, horse riding, swimming, canoeing, tree climbing), lovers of delicate dishes (many country markets, specialty of foie gras, terrine, tourtière or cahors wine, sweet wine…), eager to visit castles or museums (Bonaguil castle, Biron castle, Bergerac old town, etc.), or simply want to ask your family (swimming pool, tennis and permanent jacuzzi), this place will satisfy you.
The house has 1 floor:
- Ground floor: 2 bedrooms (180 cm bed) with TV, 1 shower room, 1 living room with American kitchen and bar, 1 sofa bed 160 cm (daily bedding provided)
- on the 1st: access by 2 independent staircases to 1 large bedroom (1 bed of 180 cm or 2 of 90 cm) contiguous to 1 small bedroom (bed of 90 cm) with 1 bathroom, on the one hand and elsewhere with 1 bedroom (1 bed of 90 cm + 1 drawer bed of 90 cm) and 1 bathroom.
Outside :
- barbecue
- Petanque ground
- Ping pong table
- Private pool, swimming against the current
- in the outbuildings, jacuzzi, winter kitchen and spacious awning offering the possibility of protection from the sun.
The house provides sheets and towels.
A laundry room offers all the necessary equipment: washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board.
A safe available.
Free baby equipment on request: cot, high chair.
On the property: tennis court, trampoline.
An old washhouse, which cannot be protected, completes the charm of this property.
To note:
- the proximity of the swimming pool, even with an alarm, the jacuzzi and the washhouse require permanent supervision of children. These are under the entire responsibility of the Lessee;
- alcohol and jacuzzi do not mix
- it is forbidden to use "glass" glasses in the jacuzzi, plastic glasses are provided.
Internal rules:
- Deposit of 1000 €
- Cleaning package leaving the premises
- Smoking is not allowed in the house but the countryside around you is waiting for you...
- To allow travelers who succeed you to benefit in turn from a clean, warm and friendly house, please respect the places and the nature around you.

Where do I start? We were greeted by Bernard, who was extremely helpful. He brought us fresh pastries on our first day, and was on hand to help with any query big or small. The property is nestled away in the beautiful french countryside, but just a 5 minute drive to the nearby town of Monflanquin. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, Bernard works hard to keep it clean and tidy. His dog is very cute and we loved playing with him in the grass. We thoroughly enjoyed playing tennis in the nearby courts, and then a dip in the pool. The house itself, has every amenity you could think of, and extremely comfortable beds. We are already thinking of returning next year. We’d like to say a special thank you to the host whom allowed us a late check out after a heavy wedding! Many thanks

A perfect family holiday.
What a fantastic place - lovely pool, lots of shade in the baking sun, well equipped - and a charming "caretaker", Bernard.

We were a group of 7 attending a family wedding in the region. The property was ideal with swimming pool an added bonus of a jacuzzi. The property is located in a very quiet location but has the advantage of being within east commute to both Monflanquin and Villereal, both very nice towns. We had a great holiday and a special thanks to Bernard who was exceptionally helpful as were the owners.

We had a fabulous week in Monflanquin the property was exactly as described, fantastically well maintained and we were blessed with good weather too!
The property has numerous spots to arrange the outdoor furniture to catch or avoid the sun, with plenty of loungers and an impeccably maintained pool which was at the perfect temperature for us.
Betrand, the charming gentleman who maintained the property, was on hand to look after things and his handsome dog Litchy was a big hit with our families.
Monflanquin is a beautiful bastide only 10 minutes by car and there are three boulangeries there that we found and a Casino that had everything we needed.
I would only note, for others that are considering the property, to make sure that the bedroom layout works for you - we had two boys & two girls and the upstairs layout wasn’t great but this was trivial compared to the benefits of the property.
