Discover the loft apartment by WP Relais in the 17th-century Palazzo Berardi. Situated in the heart of Florence, this unique space is located on the "piano nobile", the main floor of the historical building, and extends over two levels for a total of 220 square metres. The neighbourhood offers a wide range of services, from luxury boutiques such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and the WP Store, as well as supermarkets, pharmacies and banks. The privileged location on Via della Vigna, just a 2-minute walk from the River Arno and 10 minutes from Piazza della Signoria, makes the loft even more special. Via della Vigna also intersects with the famous Via Tornabuoni, one of Florence's most prestigious shopping streets.
The WP Relais apartment can accommodate up to four people and is a true architectural gem. The décor is characterised by an antique design, with inlaid parquet flooring and a wood coffered ceiling adorned with original gold leaf. The majestic windows illuminate the 8-metre-high walls, decorated with frescoes that have been restored and repositioned on panels. At the entrance there is a large table, while the other side of the room features a TV corner with a sofa that converts into a double bed. On the lower level, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bright window and shower complete the layout. The two levels are connected by a wooden spiral staircase which leads to the large mezzanine bedroom complete with a double bed and a spacious walk-in wardrobe.

The loft was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Near the bathroom there is a washing machine with soap ready to be used. Pietro and Gaia were kind and helped us solve an electricity issue.

We are a family of four, with two boys, ages nine and 10. We absolutely loved this apartment, couldn’t get over looking at the beautiful ceiling. The living area was very spacious. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the main train station, and an easy walk to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and many fabulous restaurants and high end shops. On the street just behind the apartment and connected to the apartment building is a wonderful restaurant called Parione-would definitely recommend a meal in the basement wine cellar.

Amazing place to stay, even better than the pictures suggest. Great location to explore Florence and at the end of the day, it was great to have somewhere special to chill. Forgot any negative comments about the staircase, it added to the charm and character. Waking up each morning under that ceiling was very special.

If you want to stay "in the heart of the city" in a spacious flat with wonderful ambiance, this is the place to stay. If we can, we will stay here again on our next trip to Florence. Need I say more?
