FLORENCE ITALY PERFECT MICHAELA APARTMENT
This is an excellent Florence Vacation Apartment if a historic center location and affordability are top priorities.
The apartment is located off of the high-fashion Via Tornabuoni, with numerous major designer boutiques just outside the front door. Stroll along downtown Florence pedestrian thoroughfares: enjoy outdoor cafes, easy museum access, shopping, restaurants, and the best produce market, the Mercato Centrale, are all within walking distance.
Piazza Republica is only a few blocks away, the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio Bridge are an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. Just down the street is the famous Palazzo Strozzi. Going in the opposite direction, the Santa Maria Novella train station is an 8 minute walk.
If you are looking for a chic neighborhood and a convenient stopping point at the end of a busy day of sightseeing, the Michaela apartment offers the perfect solution.
It is located on the 3rd floor (this is called the 2nd floor in Italy) of a four-story apartment building which has an elevator. Once you enter the building there are eight steps up to the elevator.
Enter off a private hallway into the pleasant living room with queen size sofa bed, chair, two windows, flat screen TV.
A separate dining room with kitchenette is good for light meal preparation. The dining room window overlooks the internal courtyard and service terraces of other apartments. Off the dining room is a full bathroom with enclosed shower, sink, toilet and bidet. There is a large storage closet between the dining room and bathroom.
The efficiency kitchen has a 2-burner electric stove top, microwave, toaster, under-the-counter refrigerator, and Italian-style coffeepot. Drip coffeemaker available upon request. The round dining table seats up to four people. The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans.
The bedroom is to the other side of the living room. It has two single beds that can be prepared together or apart and an armoire for your clothing. An en suite bathroom has shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

8 steps up to the elevator.
For stays greater than 4 weeks, a €500 damage deposit is collected in cash on arrival. Utility costs will be deducted from the deposit.
Check in is from 5pm-7pm, by appointment. NO CHECK IN AFTER 7pm, sorry no exceptions. Check out 10am.
Children 0-17 are allowed

Perfect location!!! Loved having 2 bathrooms! Clean and very safe. Check in was VERY thorough which was good but pretty lengthy when you're tired from travel. Definitely would stay here next time!

The apartment was perfectly located to walk to everything. Checkin was easy and Franco so welcoming. Having a washer was so helpful. Plenty of hot water but the water pressure was definitely on the low side. Would definitely recommend this apartment

Accommodations: Lovely extremely LARGE apt. It had TWO bathrooms, one very large bedroom and an extremely large dining room/kitchen area. Of course it had a living room too! Pictures were accurate. Rooms had large windows, making it very cheery. The private floor that the apartments were on were extremely well decorated, with very personal and artistic touches, oil paintings and all. The windows were soundproof, which was good, because we were in the heart of the city. Would stay there again, but would try and get one of the apartments that had a balcony. Probably because I LOVE to sit outside and eat or just relax. The apartment that did have a balcony [Strozzi apartment, VRBO #156858] was on an inside courtyard, which means it would be very private and quiet.
Location: Was exactly where we wanted to be. We had several one bedroom choices, but picked this one, close to the River and centrally located in the middle of most of the museums we
wanted to see. GREAT!
Italy Perfect: If you EVER go to Italy you MUST use this company. Since really good travel agents are extremely hard to find (especially since the internet). Dealing with this company was like using National Geographic tours or another five star company like them, only at much less the cost. Pat & Lisa give you the best service. They have researched EVERYTHING you need to know about the city, where to go, what to do, were to eat and shop for groceries, best means of transportation,etc. I have traveled to many countries around the world, most of the trips I planned myself, unless they were to very remote areas. I had to do very LITTLE research because Pat & Lisa share their wealth of information with you. They even contacted me via e-mail, when they were in Italy, while I was planning this extensive trip ( we stayed in 3 different apartments in
Italy) ! How is that for great service! Just MAKE SURE you read ALL the information they send you. It may seem like a lot to go through, but it will ensure you have a great time!
