Everything was perfect. The owner, Peter, and all the staff were delightful, kind and helpful, both in advance and during our stay. The location was quiet and in a friendly neighbourhood, and it was easy to walk everywhere (including into the new town, as well as the Medina). The local walk with Peter and the cookery class with chef Karima and Hamza was wonderful! It’s a captivating building, and the rooftop is a lovely place once cool to end the evening or start the morning, while the courtyard is lush and shady in the heat of the day.

Staff was absolutely lovely and the hotel courtyard is charming.
We had the rooftop room and it was tiny. I would not call it room. No walls between toilet and room. No walls between shower and room. Me bedside would get wet if not careful since it was also very close to the shower. Just imagine 30cm around a bed and that is the room. The neighbourhood was a bit of a mess if I’m honest. We got scared walking to the hotel.

What’s not to love. Hassan and the team were incredibly welcoming and we spent a special New Year’s Eve here. Food is excellent!
Loved everything. Perhaps I’d say for a romantic couple there isn’t much privacy because the Riad is small and all rooms face the courtyard.
