Het huisje was erg schoon en de keuken volledig uitgerust. Het zwembad is schoon en verwarmd. Er zijn lekkere ligstoelen en tuinmeubilair.
Er was geen woonkamer! Alleen twee slaapkamers en een keuken (waar geen plek was om te zitten). Verder moet je buitenom lopen om naar de tuin te komen. Er is geen directe toegang tot de tuin vanuit het appartement. Dat betekende met je handen vol spullen drie deuren door, 5 trapjes af, en 20 m lopen. Tenslotte heb je geen privacy. Er zijn bovenburen waar je een voordeur mee deelt, en die veel roken. De gang stinkt dus erg naar rook. De bovenburen kijken ook zo de tuin in. De eigenaar woont achter het appartement en is regelmatig in de tuin en in het zwembad te vinden (hij dacht waarschijnlijk dat we er niet waren omdat de auto er niet stond). Hij vond het ook nodig om mijn zonen te corrigeren omdat ze te veel zouden spetteren in het zwembad. Dat maakt de vakantie minder ontspannen.
