About this house rental
A late 19th century Country House Set within a small park in a natural reserve 300 meters high over the Arno Valley 20km south of Florence.
Cerchiaia is the ideal location for your holidays in Tuscany (2-8 people) Whether you aim for culture, nature, sports, fashion or just relax. Our ground floor flat can sleep two-to-eight people in four double-bed rooms with three private bathrooms, a large and fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, conservatory and garden. Private swimming pool June to October.
Only five kilometers uphill from the motorway A1 Milan-Naples, Cerchiaia is a perfect starting point if you want to visit most of Tuscany's Art Cities:
Florence urban treasures and world renown museums (only 35 'drive or by train from Engraved railway station);
Arezzo Historical Centre and Piero della Francesca Frescoes (40 'drive or by train);
Cortona Beato Angelico's frescoes and Tuscan Sun Festival (50 'drive);
Siena Palio city and early Renaissance paintings (45 'drive);
Pisa Leaning Tower and Miracles Square (60 'drive);
Livorno Medici's Fortress and Harbour, Etruscan thumbs in Populonia (70 'drive);
Orvieto Cathedral, the Pit and white wines (70 'drive);
Lucca Medieval Walls and spyralling historical center (70'drive);
Grosseto Etruscan ruins and marine Maremma countryside (90 'drive).
If you are interested in wine tasting at the Chianti's wineries can be Reached from Cerchiaia by car in less than 60 '.
If nature is your interest Cerchiaia is the starting point of many attractive walks and jogging paths. In just around 60 'by car you can reach the 1000m high Forest of Vallombrosa with its 11th century Monastery, or the Casentino Woods With Their well organized wild animal watching tours.
If you are interested in signature fashion shopping the famed fashion outlet The Mall is only 6km (or 12 ') away in Holm, as well as the Dolce & Gabbana leather factory in Burchio. The original Prada Outlet and Design Centre in Levane can be Reached in around 25 '.
If you want to practice a sport we have 5 bikes available in the house, close horse riding facilities and four golf courses of International standard.

The house is exactly as advertised on the website. More than enough space for a family, it feels more like a home than a holiday apartment, which is very nice.However, there is only air-conditioning in one bedroom, the rest is very hot. Also the cleanliness can be better.

Daniele was a wonderful and extremely helpful host. We messaged many times prior to our visit as well as during the stay. We used the farmhouse as our hub and took advantage of the local trains to day trip to Florence and Rome. The pool was a highlight. We enjoyed cooling off in the water and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. The home provided us with an authentic Tuscan experience. Thank you - it was a fantastic holiday.

Our host Daniele was very helpful, incredibly responsive, and knowledgeable of the area with great recommendations for food, travel, and experiences. I strongly recommend following his lead because it greatly enhanced our experience. The pool is perfect for a family and even better than the photos. The location is convenient to reach many Tuscan cities by car and experience so much during your stay.

We spent 8 days in this marvelous house. It is everything and more than the listing describes. Beautifully furnished, equipped with everything needed and more, very big. The location is splendid and plunges you in the Tuscany landscape. Wild animals graze in the garden at times and we enjoyed the sight of deer, rabbits, pheasants from the windows. It is very easy to get to any of the top sites in Tuscany using either the train (10 mn from the house) or the car.The landlords are charming and make every effort to help and accomodate. Daniel picked us up at the exit of the highway at nearly midnight, worried that we would not find the place at night. The breakfast table was ready with the best food for the next morning. And they cared for us throughout the whole stay. Only slight problem: the water pressure for the (3!) showers is not very strong, but still usable. We highly recommend the Cerchiaia house to everybody and would love to come back. Thank you so much Madu and Daniel
