About this chalet rental
A beautiful wooden house with 5 acres of outdoors, located in a small rural village. Built in altitude, with excellent sun exposure and great views over the valley of the Vade River and the Peneda-Geres National Park. The house has a good thermal insulation and can be comfortably inhabited all year round.
This house was built by my parents in the early 1990s as a weekend getaway.
It's a large and very reserved property located in a small village with only 300 inhabitants, about 5 minutes away from Ponte da Barca.
The A28/A27 and A3 highways are about 7 kms away, making it quickly and easily accessible.
The outdoors are divided in 6 levels spread over 5 acres.
At the level of the house, there is a large lawn with oak, chestnut, lime and walnut trees and a water spring. At the lower level, there is a biological orchard with orange, lemon and apple trees.
The house has an area of 135 square meters, divided into 2 bedrooms, a living and dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is a large porch facing west with a stunning view.
Guest will access all the commodities of the house and its outdoors.
Towels and linen are included.
Central heating and fireplace can be used.
Internet Wi-Fi.
Interaction with guests:
There are no other houses in the property.
You will rent the entire place for your stay.
During your stay we will keep in touch.
I will always be available by phone (24/7).

Nice and friendly landlord who was always at our service by phone. Everything in the description at FEWO is correct. No German TV whatsoever but very fast WiFi. No shower tub but a bathing tub with shower. Hot water is a bit strange but it works. The kitchen is extremely good equipped. The veranda is large and has three large sun shades.

Beautiful place to stay. Stunning views and interesting bird life. Very comfortable spacious accommodation. Very relaxing.
Take a jumper just in case the sun doesn’t shine.

La maison est claire et bien aménagée, sur un terrain boisé très agréable. De la terrasse on profite du calme et de la vue sur toute la vallée. Nous remercions Joana pour son accueil et la mise à disposition de documentation sur la région. Nous aimerions y retourner.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, eine gute Aufteilung der Zimmer und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist perfekt, mit einem wundervollen Ausblick. Dazu kommt noch das sehr große Grundstück, ideal wenn man ungestört sein will. Joanna ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, sie hat uns alle Informationen für den Nationalpark zur Verfügung gestellt und war jederzeit ansprechbar.
