The house was very clean and well located. It is right in the historical centre, so the parking was really a plus. Great balcony with the river view, and with a grill. The kitchen was very well equipped. The building is in great condition. The communication with the host was good.
The checkoutprocess, where the host wrote asking that I "take the garbage with me, felt very odd. I had to walk around the town looking for a disposal, and frankly it felt like we were staying in a mountain hut. There were also problems with the parking gate, which didn't open, forcing me to go round and round the streets until I found where to park the car. Finally, for a stay of 2 nights, 5 people had two rolls of toilet paper. Why?? These are relatively minor but worth mentioning.
A much worse comment is the fact that the owner is messaging me after I posted the review, complaining about my review (as if it's not totally factual). This in itself is unacceptable, and I would like to mention it here. I drop my evaluation to 6 from 8 based on this alone. Customer opinions must be respected.
