The Summerhouse where it's always summer. Sit on the balcony and enjoy watching the dolphins play while enjoying your morning coffee. Then ease on down to the beautiful white sandy beach for a nice stroll or enjoy one of the two swimming pools or just relax in the hot tub and enjoy the warm gulf breezes. It's truly a place where you'll want to come to over and over... Always a relaxing summer feeling.

My family rented this condo for a week. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to setup everyday. The complex has multiple spray off areas coming from the beach. The condo itself was perfect for 5 people. Plenty of room. Being on the second floor was very convenient because the elevator can get backed up. We had a great time! I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed multiple years in the Summerhouse. We love its location, its pools and its layout. This condo was so cute & colorful with its beach decorations. However it had multiple problems. To begin with, the elevator was not working for the majority of our stay. This meant that upon arrival we had no way to get ourselves, our luggage or supplies up to the condo except by 3 flights of stairs (condo is on second floor, but there is a ground floor). Other problems were: the tub did not drain well; one commode was continually slow to flush; there was a leak under the kitchen sink; there were open electrical outlets in the bedroom; the sliding glass door to the porch was not working properly & almost impossible to open; the linens were of the cheapest quality, pillowcases were not provided for all the pillows; no hand towels & only one dish cloth/towel were provided; the kitchen was well stocked in some items such as plates, glassware, pots & pans, but other items were lacking - there were only five forks, one teaspoon, & four tablespoons (for a condo which sleeps 6!!). Emerald Coast Destinations, the VRBO host for this condo was absolutely the WORST; I will NEVER rent from them again. Their customer support agent was rude, offensive and grossly unhelpful. The only redeeming Emerald Coast employees were Dalton, the very nice & pleasant maintenance man who came & carried all our luggage up (but he was dispatched only after we started talking about the ADA) & the cleaners
