The room was exceedingly clean and well dressed. The owner was very helpful with information around the city. The kitchen was well equipped. We did not take the breakfast so was nice to have a kitchen and a place to sit and out outside of the room. We parked on the street which was fine although we were offered parking off street. The metro station was a drive away but with plenty of parking.
In all the other accommodation in Portugal we had a free water of water and tea and coffee in the room. We had a free bottle of water here but had not realised we had to pay for the tea bag/coffee pod. There was a price list in the room we missed so that was our fault for presuming! If you are in the front room it faces the main road which we found was busy and noisy if you had the window open. If you closed the window it was fine.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Besitzer Joaquim. Die informative Einweisung zur Unterkunft und der Umgebung durch ihn ist eine der ausführlichsten, die ich bisher erlebt habe. Die Zimmer sind umfangreich ausgestattet, ebenso der dem Zimmer zugeordnete Teil des Kühlschrankes, der in der gemeinschaftlich nutzbaren Küche steht. Allerdings alles entgeltlich, bis auf eine Flasche Wasser pro Person bei der Ankunft.
Da das gebuchte Zimmer zur viel befahrenen Straße gelegen ist, herrscht bei geöffnetem Fenster eine deutliche Geräuschbelastung. Verstärkt wird das durch bellende Hunde in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Als Abhilfe gibt es im Zimmer Ohrstöpsel. Und die geschlossenen Fenster dämpfen den Lärm auch deutlich.
Das Zimmer und das Bad haben eine sehr gute Größe, insgesamt ist im Haus alles sehr sauber und perfekt gepflegt.
Das Bett ist sehr bequem, die Schlafqualität dadurch, abgesehen von den Außengeräuschen, sehr gut.
Den Außenbereich haben wir nicht genutzt, ebenso nicht das Wohnzimmer mit Spielen und Büchern.
Auf der Straße gibt es kostenfreie Parkplätze für viele Fahrzeuge. In wenigen Minuten Fahrentfernung liegt das Estádio do Dragão, mit einem Parkhaus, das direkten Zugang zur Metro bietet. Für 1,50€ darf hier 12 Stunden geparkt werden. Mit der Metro ist die Innenstadt von Porto in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Insgesamt ist diese Unterkunft empfehlenswert.
Neben Seife und Duschgel wäre es schön, wenn eine Bodylotion gestellt werden würde. Ansonsten bietet Joaquim wirklich alles, was für einen Aufenthalt erforderlich ist.
