Beautiful Colonial with views of Lake Champlain,8 miles from downtown Burlington

Clean well maintained property. Minor issues easily addressed with the owners.Confusion about the number of beds - one room had blow up mattress in a closetWiFi failed but owner was able to reset remotely.Kitchen has minimal silverware and other necessities Had to purchase garbage bagsWe were confused about where to dump ashes from a fire - used fire dish to roast marshmallowsWould happily stay here againGrandkids were thrilled with the soccer net

We enjoyed our stay at this nice location with a nice comfortable house. It would likely be perfect for a large gathering with children.We were a group of eight adults who were a bit disappointed by the lack of attention to detail for our circumstance. Specifically, more coffee cups, more cutlery, a gas grille or at least some briquettes for the charcoal grille, and larger beds would have greatly improved our total experience.

I think of this as being a place that should attract a high end customer. That said it fails in the area of supplies. Kitchen is poorly furnished for such a property. ( do not mean things should be high end only ample supply ) The toilet tissue was some of the worst I have come across, the lack of reasonable hand wash and body wash products ) They had a great guest book but it was not in an obvious place and we never saw until the end of our stay. Should be more prominent . The Nest was in an Ecco mode and therefore when we left during the day the temps dropped to 63 degree and the house took hours to warm up . ( I realize this was unusually cold weather but it is Vermont ) The 3rd floor almost never was warm enough . Again this would likely only be a problem during the type of cold we had. Tammy got back to me ASAP on any concern so she is great. I did not address the supply issues with her.. Think this is due possibly to the level of supplies she chose. Not sure .. In the end this is a Beautiful property and is likely especially good in the summer when you can take more advantage of the location and outdoor space.

Beautiful, well-appointed, super clean home with lake view. Highly recommend!
