Avoid: overpriced, uncosy and dirty, nothing like a modern apartment !

Big apartment. Some kitchen equipment and tools are new, some - dirty and old (Frigde and Microwave).

Apartment in an old house, slightly renewed with cheapest materials (NOTHING like Modern apartment). Lost on a dusty street with no views. Apartment, though relatively big, feels uncosy and something like a long narrow railway carriage. My wife found a lot of dust in the corners, the mirror in the bathroom was stained and the fridge was dirty (see photos). All the bedding and towels were thin and worn. The main minus: we had travelled for sixteen days in north Norway and were staying in 12 hotels, apartments and private houses. This one was the worst from the point of view of location, quality and price. We had paid much less (-30-50 %) in some well known quality hotels with the breakfast and nice sea views, spacious clean rooms and excellent service. In summary: avoid if possible !

Bed way too soft!

Good location, easy to find, had what we needed.

The main bed was so soft, it was too uncomfortable, like uncontrolled rolling on an air pocket. The shower flooded the bathroom every time it was used.

Dishwasher was awful. Left after 2 nights it was still unclean.

Dirty, smelly dishes in dishwasher. Very few clean kitchenware to use. 2 of 3 blinds didn't work. Bed uncomfortably soft. View of main window of parked cars, beer can and unkempt building. 8 + rating doesn't make sense.

Roomy, neat and tidy apartment with everything one needs for an overnight stop.

Easy to find and gain access. Excellent communication from host. Lovely apartment had all we needed for an overnight stop.

The bed was way too soft. Centre of bed was firmer so hubby slept there. I slept on the sofa which was much more comfortable. Maybe time for a new mattress?

Could have been a very good stay, If there was no smell of Fish

Centrally located in Svolvær. Good description by owner on how to find the property and has a parking space as well in front of the door.

There was smell of fish being cooked all the time. Had to spray some room freshener late at night to sleep. When we entered to when we left the smell was there the whole time. Also there was no detergent for the washing machine.

It was a cozy and neat apartment. All necessary facilities were present. A good price quality ratio!

Superb

Central without being in the heart of Svolvaer. Short walk to the centre of town. Comfortable for our family. Clean. Like an Air BnB. All the services required for self-servicing accommodation.

The only complaint we have is that the neighbours were upstairs were quite noisy.

Very good

Quiet location yet easy access to town. bed comfortable enough and good black out curtains. Quite spacious with a good little kitchen for making an easy home made meal if you wish. Also a washing machine and clothes rack to dry clothes, ideal for us as we are on a 7 week trip.

would have liked a tea towel and dish cloth or powder for the dishwasher. Key wasn’t in designated place when we arrived but luckily a family member of owner lives in other part of building and had a key.

Everything was great. The apartment is quiet, clean, well-equipped, nice decoration. Bed is comfortable.

Absolutely recommended

3 nights staying. Fully equipped apartment, excellent location in the middle of the village of Svolvaer, perfect to use as a base camp on our visit to the Lofoten Islands. Gas station and supermarkets (7-23h) very close to the flat. Everything (check-in, wifi...) was easy, fluid and very well explained, despite arriving very late in the evening the first day, under heavy snow, and not dealing directly with the host at any time. Absolutely recommended for 2-4 people.

The facilities were excellent, but with some items not working properly (toilet cistern, lamps), although I'm sure they will fix them in the next future. Very soft bed, but that's up to each person...

Good value for money

The apartment is cozy. It had everything you needed (including for cooking) and it has a lot of nice details, like olive oil so that one could cook, and also a chrome cast.

The apartment street is not the nicest and it is not in the main part of town. Also it does not have a lot of natural light and the living room lights were not working well

Good cozy apartment in the heart of Svolvaer. Supermarkets availbale nearby. Stayed with my family of four quite comfortably. Rented a car and they had a space to park it, which made things easier. Host is very responsive to queries. Highly recommended

We can recommend this place!

The appartement was clean, nice and spacious. There was everything you could possibly need like pans, plates, glasses, oil, coffee maker, sheets, pillows, towels, shampoo, Couch, TV, WiFi, parking space, outdoor seating area... We were quite satisfied about the place. Note that there is self checking, but that was not difficult and the neighbor was really helpful.
