Very cozy house, good location and comfortable

The Nora's Waterfront Cabin was a very good accomodation for us. It has a nice location close to the harbour, food shops and hiking trail to Fløya and Djevelporten. It has a very big terrace. The cabin is well equipped with all necessary kitchen tools and also with grill.

There was no curtain above the beds. These should be very useful at that time of the year when no dark at all at night. A cheese grater shou.ld be good to the kitchen. We have not found it.

We were disappointed with the house and the location. We felt that the price was absolutely not appropriate.

The hosts were very helpful. Each complaint was taken seriously: the sink, the shower, the drain, a missing bath mat, a broken shade for a window…there were very many plates and cutlery. The kitchen stove works very well. We liked the spacious terrace.

It should be mentioned that the house is in the industrial part of the harbour. The whole house is not well kept, it was dirty overall. Particularly the blanket on the sofa and the extra blankets were really really dirty and filthy. One lampshade over the table is missing. The wood stove doesn’t work. The door for the shower has no more handknob etc etc

The location was perfect, close to the centre. The check in experience was too easy, and the hosts replied really fast when we needed them.

Some basic amenities were missing. There was too much light entering the room during sleep time. A bit expensive.

Almost perfect except for the non-fireplate

The house was very nice, the view was breathtaking, very comfortable and just what we were looking for on our trip around Lofoten.

The owner told me (a week before we went there) that the fireplate was not working. And we had booked that house because of the fireplate, but they had no free cancellation. There was a Nespresso coffee machine but no capsules, also we wanted to clean our clothes and there was no detergent.

Gemütliches Plätzchen

Direkt am Hafenwasser und ruhig gelegen, nur die Möwen kreischen. Die Hütte ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet im Grunde alles, was man braucht, sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Das obere Bett ist nur über eine steile Treppe/Leiter zu erreichen. Für uns zwei kein Problem. Das Zentrum, der Hafen und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Der Wasserkocher war defekt und es fehlten unten im kleinen Zimmer und beim Schlafplatz oben am rechten Fenster die Jalousien. Im Sommer unerlässlich, um etwas abzudunkeln. Da wir nur das obere Bett genutzt haben, hat der frische Spüllappen ersatzweise herhalten müssen. Bei Ebbe riecht es etwas unangenehm.

Das Häuschen ist sehr schön gelegen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr dreckig und schmuddelig und wir konnten den Wohnbereich leider nicht auf angenehme Temperaturen heizen.
