Three-room apartment Girasole - country house with pool and garden

We stayed at the property (the larger apartment in the double house) for 2 weeks nad thouroghly enjoyed the remote location away from the busy city life with our own little pool. The house is located about 12km from Pitigliano where there are several restaurants and two larger supermarkets. There is a small minimarket down the road (about 300-400m) with basic groceries as well. There is no air conditioning in the house, but it wasn't a problem as long as we held all the doors and windows closed during the day. That way the temperature in the bedrooms was just fine at night (eventhough it was 33 - 38 degrees Celsius during our stay). It was very convenient to have a washing machine in the house. The best part of our stay was the friendliness of our host Daniela. She gave us all the information we could wish for and even helped us booking an appointment at a vet for one of our dogs who had had an accident on our way to Italy. We would recommend the property as a base to anyone wishing to explore the souther part of Tuscany (Maremma).

Calme et repos à la campagne. Hébergement simple mais confortable. La région est splendide avec des sites de tout premier ordre à découvrir. Le seul hic c’est la faiblesse du réseau de téléphonie mobile. Hormis cela nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances

Basic, but clean and equipped cottage. Large outside garden area to sit in with views over the countryside and to sit and watch the stars at night. Excellent communication with the owner. Responds very quickly to any messages and requests. Very calm and peaceful location, well placed for visiting the area. I would say the only small disadvantage of the cottage and something to be aware of is, that there is no living area, which is not a problem if the weather is perfect and you can sit outside all the time. However, we had a couple of days of bad weather when it would have been nice to have had somewhere comfortable to sit inside.

Nous venons de passer 7 semaines dans cette propriété et nous avons été plus qu'enchantés. Tant par l'endroit que par le gentillesse et la disponibilité de la propriétaire , mais également de son papa . Un gîte très propre avec des extérieurs très bien entretenus Le seul petit bémol est qu'il n'y aie pas de fauteuils ou un petit divan 2 places afin de pouvoir s'installer confortablement le soir . Si vous aimez le calme et la nature nous vous recommandons vivement cet endroit.
