Incredible farm stay and the true Tuscan experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fattoria dei Cavalieri, and have endless good things to say. Lucia was such a genuinely kind and approachable host. We also met her daughter and husband who were so welcoming to us. It’s a family operated farm where they make their own products. Their pasta, sauces, olive oil, and especially wine are amazing. Upon arriving we asked if we could have dinner at the farm. Lucia prepared a traditional Tuscan dinner with an incredible charcuterie board and pici pasta with pork ragu, all in a beautiful farmhouse dining room. It was one of our favorite experiences during our 6 days in Tuscany. We also stayed in the modern apartment which was very nicely put together and clean. There are also animals on the farm - we miss the dogs and cats already! As you can tell we absolutely loved our stay and hope to go back one day. Grazie mille Lucia and family!!

We liked everything! Just some travel advice - the farm is about 15-20 minutes from Pitigliano, Sorano, and Sovana. If you book dinner in those places be prepared to drive windy roads in the dark with no lighting. It was no problem though!

A treasure trove

The Fattoria dei Cavalieri is truly an idyllic place - at night you only hear the crickets sing and the occasional owl's hoot, during the day it's all about cicadas, goldfinches and turtle doves. Lucia and their family work hard and seem to be putting the same care and attention to welcoming their hosts as they do with running their farm. The apartment we stayed at is spotless and cozy, furnished with everything you might need for your all fresco aperitivo including their home made wanderful products - and don't get me started on Lucia 's cooking, the best we tried while staying in the area. Also Rusty the dog was welcomed and enjoyed his stay. Truly a treasure trove, thank you! We will be back.

A beautiful Tuscan Fattoria with lovely hosts that made our weekend getaway unforgettable.

The breakfast was AMAZING! Absolutely the highlight of our day for our three days on the property. Everything we ate was homemade and almost all of the food originated from the fattoria. Simply a delicious range of farm to table a awesomeness! Our hosts were tremendously hospitable. Our daughter had a blast playing with Sara and exploring the farm with her. The dogs, cats, kittens, sheep, lambs and just breathtaking scenery made it a truly memorable experience for our whole family. My kids didn't want to leave and we were able to truly "get away from the grind." The apartment was a charming, rustic Tuscan apartment off of the larger house. Stone walls, wood beams, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of farm-to-table grown foods & beverages to use at your pleasure. It was the perfect size for our family and made for a comfortable getaway.

The WiFi connection was not great to almost non-existent inside our apartment due to the thick stone walls and no router inside. I would recommend the hosts invest in a WiFi extender or a mesh network router system to better extend the range of the WiFi network on the property. Not a huge deal since the intent of the trip was to disconnect a bit, but getting directions or researching local areas to explore proved challenging because our cellular service (TIM) was almost non-existent on the property as well.

호스트인 루치아가 만들어준 음식은 매우매우 맛있었습니다. 숙소 마당에서 함께지내고있는 강아지 고양이들도 너무 사랑스러웠습니다. 양들도 귀여웠고 강아지들이 양을 모는 모습을 보는것도 신기하고 재미있었어요 소라노 소바나 근처라 소도시 탐험 하기 좋아요

수영장을 이용하지못했음, 숙소로 벌이 들어와서 약간 당황했지만 웃긴 해프닝으로 마무리.. 렌트카가 없다면 힘들어요

Es war super entschleunigend, schön, ruhig und wir haben uns in das Anwesen verliebt.

Wir hatten eine sehr sehr schöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft ist modern und sehr sauber. Trotz warmen Wetters war es angenehm in der Wohnung (Klimaanlage vorhanden). Der Hofbereich vor der Wohnung ist auch sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt zahlreiche Obstbäume sowie einen Gemüsegarten, an dem wir uns bedienen durften. Die Tomaten waren ein Traum. Die (zum Kauf) bereitgestellten Lebensmittel und Getränke, die vor Ort produziert werden (Nudeln, Verschiedenen Saucen, Wein, …) waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Wir haben, obwohl es in der Gegend genug zu sehen gibt, unsere Zeit fast vollständig auf dem Hof verbracht und mit den Hunden und Katzen, die einem dabei einen Besuch abstatten, gespielt, wenn wir nicht gerade im Pool waren oder uns gesonnt haben. Wir würden und werden wiederkommen. Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und es herrschte eine tolle Atmosphäre.

Die Küche könnte etwas ausgestattet sein (2. Herdplatte und ein Brettchen). Das nötigste findet man aber.

Fattoria nei borghi

Da Lucia si è come in famiglia, con il dovuto rispetto, la fattoria è molto bella e gli appartamenti confortevoli, puliti e con tutti i servizi. C'è una bella piscina ,un portico e un barbecue nel giardino. La colazione è super con dolce e salato, tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa. C'è un piccolo shop con olio ,vino, mirto, marmellate ,sughi e pasta di loro produzione. Mi sento proprio di consigliare questo angolo di tranquillità, nella maremma Grossetana ,a due passi dai borghi più belli d"talia.

Ein wundervoller und erholsamer Aufenthalt in herzlicher Atmosphäre.

Wir hatten hier einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Lucia und ihre Familie sind fantastische Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit bei Fragen oder Wünschen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt, und man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Die tierischen Bewohner der Fattoria haben das positive Erlebnis zusätzlich bereichert. Hier konnten wir dem Alltag entfliehen und die Ruhe inmitten der Natur genießen. Einige kleine, sehr schöne Gemeinden in der Umgebung waren schnell erreichbar und boten gute Essensmöglichkeiten. Abseits des üblichen Touristenstroms in der Hauptsaison – genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Das Frühstück von Lucia war ein Traum, mit leckeren Produkten direkt vom Hof oder aus der Umgebung, frisch Gebackenem und vielem mehr. Vielen Dank, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Vacances en amoureux

Lucia est une superbe hôte. Elle est disponible et très acceuillante. Nous parlons uniquement français mais elle faisait l'effort de parler avec nous. Sa ferme est très calme et propre. La piscine est nettoyer tous les jours. Son petit déjeuner était copieux et vraiment composé de produits frais. Elle vend des produits de region ou fait par elle meme. Nous partons tristement après cette belle semaine en amoureux dans cette région splendide avec pour promesse de revenir en vacances dans la région.

Een droomverblijf in Toscane!

We hebben een fantastische tijd beleefd in deze prachtige fattoria. Ons huisje was charmant, comfortabel en helemaal zoals op de foto’s – misschien zelfs nog mooier in het echt. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De omgeving is adembenemend mooi, midden in de natuur, en toch goed bereikbaar. Zalig om hier tot rust te komen. Het zwembad was heerlijk verfrissend en perfect onderhouden. Wat dit verblijf echt bijzonder maakt, zijn de mensen: Lucia, Sara en Marco zijn zo warm, gastvrij, oprecht vriendelijk en tegelijk heel discreet. We voelden ons meteen welkom. Het ontbijt en avondeten waren elke keer weer een feest – vers, lokaal en met liefde bereid. Kortom: een plek met een ziel, waar je voelt dat alles met zorg en passie gedaan wordt.

Ruhiger Aufenthalt bei herzlichen Menschen auf dem Lande

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist von großer Herzlichkeit und wir fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause. Die Lage in den sanften Hügeln der Maremma ist ideal für Ruhesuchende und ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgegend. Das Frühstück, das Lucia uns jeden Morgen gezaubert hat, bestand zum größten Teil aus Produkten der Fattoria. Wir waren die einzigen Frühstücksgäste und waren begeisterst von der liebevollen Zubereitung der abwechslungsreich gestalteten Mahlzeit.

Es war alles super.
