Mediterranean house on the Costa del Sol Malaga

Perfect venue and perfect hosts for a wonderful summer holiday tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town but close enough to venture into it when you want to on foot. The swimming pool was a bonus to cool down in from the recent hot weather. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Maria and family were very helpful and found us two fans for the bedrooms and an electric kettle. The pool and grounds were really nice. It was a short walk to the bus stops and a longer stroll into Fuengirola and all the amenities.

Good location close to A7 for quick access to the Costa del Sol. Friendly and very helpful owners who live on site. Big private pool. Would stay again.

The property is very clean, is very comfortable and benefits from many outdoor spaces to enjoy the views and Sun or Shade, whatever you prefer all day long. With the pool as well it makes it so you can stay and relax all day if you desire. It is not far from the beach and can easily be reached walking, although that does require going over the road bridges and it is located 100m up an incline, so not perhaps easy for those with walking difficulties. The owners and their family are a very kind and helpful family who will offer any assistance you require but will respect your privacy as well.

We had a lovely time at this property. It was a real home from home! If there were any issues or problems or enquiries they dealt with them straight away! A thoroughly enjoyable holiday!

We Enjoyed are stay at El Faro....the family was very hospitable, kind and helpful.

Our stay at this villa was amazing. My husband and I took our 3 girls who are of the ages 15, 20 & 2. We all had a great time!! Its located in a great spot which is away from all the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to the local supermarket and the beach. There was also a Mall which had all the top High street Stores and much more. This too is within walking distance. The beach is a long strip along the med coastline and have to give credit to the planning of the beach, its been well thought out with lots of activities, sun loungers and showers. Being August, it was extremely hot so the walk to the supermarket or the beach probably took us 10-15 minutes than it should of done. At night when its cooler its probably a 10 minute walk to the store and 15 mins to the beach. The villa itself is a decent size and decorated very Spanish and extremely homely. The TV had the facility to be translated to English which for my girls was great. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom which is just a shower unit worked well. There is a ceiling fan in the main room which was adequate and were given an additional stand alone fan which we were grateful to have. The grounds were lovely and we were able to enjoy the various seated and shaded areas as well as the pool which was just a blessing for us to have solely to ourselves and we enjoyed this immensely. Our hosts Maria and Jeronimo were excellent and are really nice people with a great & kind nature. They live on site above the property we were in and were not intrusive at all but extremely accommodating and there to offer their help whatever it may be. For us there was the language barrier as we don’t speak Spanish but it didn’t create a problem at all and we had our ways to communicate. We were even treated to a boat trip by them where we were lucky enough to see dolphins!! An amazing day out! The only downside was their wifi which unfortunately did not work for us in the designated ‘hot spot’ but we got round this with our own mobile provider so didn’t deter us from enjoying our surroundings. There was no need for us to hire a car and there’s a good bus service locally which we used to take a day trip to Marbella. There are dogs on the site but believe me when I say they are very pleasant, friendly and well behaved and didn’t cause us any problems. Expect to enjoy a fabulous break at this Villa and I wish Maria & Jeronimo all the best with this place. We'll be back!!

Hôte très gentil Maison bien située entre Grenade Séville et trous près de la mer. Piscine très agréable.

A hotel in the area would probably have been better for us who wanted a quiet and peaceful rental with a private pool. We were aware that the landlord lives "behind" the rental apartment, but it is actually just above and there is no soundproofing so everything done by the landlord and family can be heard quite clearly - Very annoying and pulls down part of the experience of "peaceful and quiet "area. Furthermore, the neighboring property is close to the rental apartment and it was rented out to noisy young people who especially from midnight and 2-4 hours onwards played LOUD music * Despite the fact that it looked clean, there were ants in the kitchen, the bathroom and the room with the double bed. Although the landlord only speaks Spanish, he did try to be helpful with arm movements and a translator on the cell phone. * We may have misunderstood the ad, because it is described that there is air conditioning in all rooms, but it was only in the living room and it was therefore very hot in the rooms even though we had opened doors and windows and it was difficult to fall asleep. The area is characterized by being more busy than described. However, not everything is negative. - The pool with salt water is nice and big and despite scurrying parrots (very noisy), ants and a lot of annoying little flies, the terrace was a nice area to spend time using.

La ubicación de la casa está en un sitio muy tranquilo y al mismo tiempo a corta distancia andando del paseo marítimo de Fuengirola y a 5 minutos en coche de un gran centro comercial. La casa por dentro cuenta con todo lo necesario y si hace falta algo los propietarios, Jerónimo y María Jesús, te lo proporcionan rápidamente. El jardín es lo mejor, muy amplio, bonito y con una gran piscina.

Superbien todo, la piscina ideal, la casa muy bien, cerca de la playa y los anfitriones de 10. Todo correcto, y destacar la amabilidad de Geronimo

Me ha encantado la casa!! La propiedad es “una pasada” una piscina enorme, hamacas súper cómodas, todo súper bonito y cuidado... Qué me gustaría haber sabido a mí cuando encontré esta casa y dudé si sería la ideal o no... Los dueños son encantadores, a todos lo niveles. Tienen una perrita, pero ni te enteras que está. La casa es ideal para cuatro personas. Tienen de todo de menaje del hogar, leí algún comentario de q faltaba algo pero a día de hoy tienen de todo! Lo que me preocupaba a mí... la intimidad. Y María Jesús con una frase me quitó cualquier miedo “la casa es vuestra entera mientras estéis aquí” y con sus actos lo confirmó. Parecía que estábamos solos. Está muy cerquita de la playa y hay muchísimas más cerca, a un paso de Fuengirola centro y a menos de media hora de Marbella y de Málaga, aunque no te apetece salir siquiera de la casa! Un placer!!!! Millones de gracias por todo!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, avec une maison contenant le nécessaire pour un séjour parfait. La maison est très bien placé au calme, avec possibilité d’accéder à la plage et au centre-ville en cinq minutes en voiture. La plage la plus près est à cinq minutes à pied. Les propriétaires ont été au top, Avec de très bons conseils ils vivent au-dessus mais très discret lorsqu’on a besoin deux ils sont présents. Ils nous ont fait profiter d’une sortie en bateau vraiment parfaite la piscine de 10 m par 5 m avec une température de 36° était incroyable. Un séjour parfait. Merci à Geronimo et Maria...

Hemos estado muy a gusto. Muy bien los anfitriones, en especial Cuca. La recomendamos. Tal vez, el menaje es, más que escaso, muy sueco.

La partie intérieure est bien aménagée, propre et suffisamment équipée. Les terrasses permettent de choisir l’emplacement en fonction du soleil et de la chaleur du moment, et elles sont toutes très agréables. La piscine et le salon de jardin sont superbes et procurent un réel plaisir de détente et de dépaysement. Et puis il y a les propriétaires : discrets, serviables et surtout extrêmement accueillants. Ils ont été durant tout notre séjour à notre écoute, toujours prêt à répondre à nos demandes. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les quelques moments de convivialité passés avec eux. Un grand merci à Maria-Jésus et Jeronimo de nous avoir permis de profiter de ce superbe endroit que nous recommandons. El interior está bien equipado, limpio y equipado adecuadamente. Las terrazas permiten elegir la ubicación según el sol y el calor del momento, y todas son muy agradables. La piscina y el jardín son excelentes y proporcionan un verdadero placer de relajación y paisajes. Y luego están los propietarios: discretos, serviciales y, sobre todo, extremadamente acogedores. Estaban toda nuestra estancia escuchándonos, siempre listos para responder a nuestras solicitudes. Realmente disfrutamos los pocos momentos de convivencia pasados con ellos. Muchas gracias a Maria-Jesus y Jeronimo por permitirnos disfrutar de este hermoso lugar que recomendamos.

Super séjour la maison est vraiment géniale rien à redire.la piscine est parfaite le logement donne directement sur la piscine avec une grande terrasse .meme si les propriétaires sont au dessus ils sont très discret et on a vraiment l impression d être seul.la plage se trouve à 10 min à pied c est super surtout avec nos 2 jeunes enfants .a 5min en voiture il y a un immense centre commercial avec un carrefour dedans .la location est très bien située pour visiter l andalouise .nous avons pu faire un super tour de bateau avec le propriétaire c était grandiose avec une magnifique pêche qu on a pu faire griller au barbecue par la suite .les propriétaires sont d une gentillesse exceptionnelle franchement je recommande ce logement à tous vous pouvez louer les yeux fermés et ne serez pas déçu.encore merci pour tout .

Somos una familia de 5 miembros y hemos estado recientemente pasando una semana de vacaciones en esta casa, y aunque realmente creemos que es ideal para cuatro personas más que para cinco, nos hemos acabado adaptando perfectamente y la hemos disfrutado mucho, porque es una casa con todas las comodidades, muy cuidada, muy tranquila y dispone de todo lo necesario para estar unos días relajados y de descanso. La piscina es fantástica y dispone de varios rincones en el jardín preciosos e ideales para relajarse, descansar, leer y pasar ratos muy agradables. Además de todo esto, hemos podido disfrutar de la amabilidad y de la gran hospitalidad de Jerónimo y de María Jesús. Han estado pendientes de nosotros, y completamente solícitos, pero siempre desde una intachable discreción y consideración, para que pudiésemos estar realmente a gusto y nos sintiéramos como si estuviésemos en nuestra casa. nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison andalouse aucune fausse note le cadre magnifique la maison très fonctionnelle , nous avons passé de très bons moments dans la piscine les enfants ont adoré merci à Jeronimo à sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité,merci pour sa ballade en mer dommage que nous ayons eu 2 marins malades nous avons dû rentrer rapidement... et n'avons pas pu en profiter pleinement nous vous recommandons absolument cette maison si vous désirez être au calme tout en étant à 10 mn à pied de la mer à refaire ... Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour de 15 jours dans cette maison. La maison est conforme à l'annonce (climatisation, chambres, terrasse, piscine…) quartier très calme et à proximité des commerces (carrefour, restaurants, pharmacie, station service...) et à 10-15 minutes à pieds de la plage et du remblais. La maison et la piscine étaient propres à notre arrivée. La literie est bonne. Les propriétaires laissent accès à la cour fermée pour stationner la voiture de location. Le WIFI est accessible dans toute la maison. S'il devait y avoir qu'un point d'amélioration, il résiderait dans à rendre la cuisine mieux équipée en vaisselle (verre à vin, plat, poêle, ramequins …). Les propriétaires Jeronimo et Maria Jesus sont très accueillants et sympathiques, mais également très discrets même s'ils sont à coté (maison mitoyenne). Leurs deux chiens Petra et kuka sont extrêmement gentils avec les enfants et habitués aux vacanciers, surtout Kuka :) Jeronimo connaît de bonnes adresses de restaurants et de lieux à visiter. Il nous a fait le plaisir de nous emmener faire une balade en mer à bord de son bateau, nous avons eu le bonheur de voir des dauphins jouer avec les vagues du bateau. Nous avons également pu profiter d’une partie de pêche et nous nous sommes ensuite régalés avec nos nombreux poissons péchés. Notre fils était ravi . Nous avons visité le site de l'Alhambra, ça vaut le déplacement (billets à réserver quelques mois à l'avance absolument et de préférence prévoir une visite le matin!) Encore un Grand merci à Jeronimo et Maria Jesus pour leur gentillesse. Bon séjour à tous ceux qui nous succéderons.

L'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire (qui habite juste à côté) vous met tout de suite dans l'ambiance. La villa, avec sa piscine et sa large terrasse, donne l'impression de passer des vacances dans le luxe le plus raffiné. L'accès à la plage est à 10 mn à pied. Grande surface à proximité pour faire ses courses. Excellent pour passer des vacances de farniente.

La experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria, pues todo ha estado genial. La propiedad en si, es una maravilla en cuanto a la parcela, la piscina y la tranquilidad que ofrece,la ubicación de la propiedad hace que en menos de 5 minutos andando estés en la playa y aun así no tengas molestias de ruidos,mas que los propios de la naturaleza. Los propietarios, si bien hemos coincidido mas con Jero que con María Jesus, son ambos encantadores. Tengo que agradecer a Jero sus atenciones en cuanto a cualquier incidencia que surgiese,y las demás ofrecimientos para hacer nuestra estancias mas agradable. La convivencia con ellos ha sido estupenda, ademas de sus atenciones, apenas están en las zonas comunes, con lo cual te da sensación de estar completamente solo y tener mas privacidad . La vivienda ofrece todo lo necesario para poder disfrutar de la vacaciones sin necesidad de nada mas que tirarte a disfrutar del sol y la tranquilidad.
