Bear Trap Dunes - Enjoy the Beach, Swimming, Tennis and Golf

We brought our whole family together for a week in Bethany Beach, and it was wonderful. The weather was beautiful, and the house was perfect for three generations of family. The bed sizes worked out so well. Every room had a king or queen bed, except for the children’s room with two twins, which was ideal. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, allowing us to cook family dinners with plenty of platters and bowls to serve everything in.The community amenities were great. The shuttle bus to the beach ran smoothly, and when my granddaughter was napping, my older grandchild was able to enjoy the pool and playground right on the grounds. We also had fun playing pickleball together.Overall, it was a week full of family bonding and wonderful accommodations. The few times I reached out to Patti before our arrival, she responded quickly and was very helpful. We would definitely go back again. We all loved it!

Very nice home. Patti communicated well with us. Only thing I’d suggest is more comfortable family room furniture. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is fabulous. Beautiful view of the pond. Close to groceries, etc. but off the main road.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this spacious home for our family of 10. We took advantage of the shuttle which was very convenient to get to the beach and we really enjoyed the beautiful club pool. There were plenty of umbrellas and chairs for use at the beach which we appreciated. The kitchen is large and well appointed with plenty of serve ware, dishes, etc and has nice appliances. There's plenty of room for dining and the couch and chairs are comfortable. There is a nice screened in porch with seating however the chairs didn't have cushions which made them uncomfortable to sit on. There is an outdoor grill that works well. The first floor has 1 master with a full bathroom and a second bedroom and half bath. The people sleeping in the first floor bedroom (not master) need to either walk through the master bedroom or one of the upstairs bedrooms to access a full bath to shower. The second floor has another master with full bathroom and two bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill style bathroom. We didn't realize this until arriving so wanted to point it out for other renters. Based on previous reviews of cleanliness we were surprised to find a few areas that needed cleaning- freezer, grill, master bathroom shower. There was an issue with the a/c but the owner was extremely prompt and the issue was quickly fixed which we so appreciated because our stay was in a very hot stretch of weather. Overall we had a wonderful trip and stay in this beautiful home in Bethany Beach.

The home was clean and the house looked exactly how it was listed. The water was shut off by accident before we got there. Once I realized it was off, the owner was very responsive and got it taken care of within 30 min. The floors are really clean and slick so if you stay make sure you have some grip socks. Other than that, we enjoyed the home!
