A lovely place to stay a short walk away from Kamari beach and the road up to Ancient Thera. The apartments are managed by a warm and caring family who looked after us well. Air conditioning works well, and the facilities are clean and well equipped for this affordable close to the beach side spot with a pool.
Breakfast is only served from close to 9am, so if you want an early start to beat the heat, you might miss breakfast. It's not quite clear, but breakfast is served from the bar next to the pool and you pick it up, rather then it being a buffet or delivered to the room.

Lovely location and perfect base for exploring
We really enjoyed our stay at Ancient Thera Apartments. The location is lovely, and the views from the sea-view rooms are absolutely stunning — definitely a highlight!
The apartments are very basic, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had breakfast on our first morning, which was nice, but as we’re early birds and like to get out and about early, we didn’t have it for the rest of our stay.
Artemis, the owner, is such a lovely lady and really adds to the welcoming feel of the place.
Would we recommend it? Absolutely! Just don’t expect luxury. If you’re looking for somewhere simple, friendly and well-located, and a great base for exploring the area, Ancient Thera Apartments is a lovely choice.
One thing to be aware of is that food and drinks aren’t available during the day, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you like to have refreshments around the accommodation.

Incredible views and lovely staff. Bus stop was located just down the road and the beach was a short walk away. Perfect location with an incredible sunset. The property was relaxing and the morning breakfasts were delicious!!

The exterior is nice, you can get a good view of the mountains and sea from the large area outside. It’s is also few minutes walk to the beach and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
The interior is really not nice, furniture and fittings are really archaic and the breakfast is also poor.
