Welcome to your perfect lakefront getaway at Costas Landing, a fully furnished cabin designed for relaxation, connection, and unforgettable views. Nestled directly on the peaceful waters of Laurel Lake, this charming retreat offers the ideal blend of comfort, nature, and family-friendly fun.
Step outside onto the large wraparound porch—both covered and open—and take in sweeping lake views any time of day. Enjoy your morning coffee, gather for evening cookouts, or unwind by the fire pit as the stars light up the night sky. With Adirondack chairs, a propane grill, and plenty of space to relax, outdoor living is effortless here.
Inside, the cozy living room features a gas log fireplace, flat-screen TV for streaming your favorite shows, complimentary Wi-Fi, and French doors that open to the upper deck overlooking the lake. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked for everything from simple breakfasts to memorable family dinners.
The cabin offers comfortable sleeping options across three levels. The main level includes a bedroom with a double bed, streaming TV, and a full bath. Upstairs, the loft provides a queen bed, half bath, and a Twin over Queen bunk bed and large windows—perfect for relaxing with a view of the water. The lower level is a fun and flexible space with a bunk bed (double over double), a comfortable sofa where you can enjoy streaming your favorite shows or read a book, a full bath, washer and dryer, a kids' table with games and movies, and access to a shaded concrete patio overlooking the lake.
Walk down to the private dock and cast a line—bream and bass are waiting. Prefer to paddle or swim? Take the canoe out on the calm, no-motor lake or enjoy swimming. Laurel Lake's peaceful, 15-acre setting makes it ideal for unplugging and spending quality time together. Located just a short drive from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park, Costas Landing offers easy access to outdoor adventures while providing a quiet, scenic place to come home to.

So lovely and serene. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The teens loved the pool table, space in the basement, the canoe and fishing from the dock. Beautiful! Thank you! We will be back!

If you are looking for private getaway, this is the place for you. We had our grand dog with us for the trip. He had plenty of space to roam outside and we didn’t have to worry about the dog barking or disturbing neighbors! The cabins are nicely spaced with woods in between.
The lake was like having our own private lake. We only saw one other person on the lake. The canoe was amazing and so was jumping off the dock!
Fire pit was awesome. Enjoyed spending the evening around the fire!!
Huge deck was nice. The roof was a plus for sitting out during the thunderstorm!
We have rented many VRBO homes over the years and this was our favorite!
Also management was very easy to contact and quick to respond.
We will definitely return to this wonderful serene place!!!!

We would highly recommend that you stay at this property. Quiet? Check. Serene? Check check. Gorgeous, very affordable, well stocked home on a private lake surrounded by gorgeous mountain views? Score! Nothing here to disappoint!
We did learn from some of the locals that this home was recently sold. Not sure if the new owners intend on continuing with the rental tradition, however should they do so, maybe king size or queen size beds would be the only tweak we would recommend.
Some had mentioned the speed of the internet. We are not gamers, etc. We were able to watch Netflix and the like with very little buffering issues.
Thanks to the original owners, the new owners and Coldwell Banker property managers. We truly enjoyed an extremely peaceful and restful week. The first for us in many years!

We had a nice stay. The cabin was plenty big for the 4 of us with room to spare. There was a lot to do in the area. We loved the canoe and fishing. There were a lot of stairs but not too much for us.
