I had the apartment on the second floor. There is a very nice balcony, which is completely overgrown with vines and flowers, so butterflies always come to visit you while you are sitting there and you have shade all day long. The air conditioning cooled the room down quickly and made it very comfortable on hot days. The walking distance to the beach and the harbor is also great, both can be reached in less than a minute, yet you are a bit out of the way and have your peace and quiet.
The equipment is in need of some improvement. There was a lack of towel rails in the kitchen and bathroom, and there were no tea towels or scissors.
Some things were unfortunately also broken. For example, the kitchen light above the worktop. There is an LED strip that you can plug into the socket, but it didn't work. So it was quite dark when you wanted to cook something in the evening. When you unplugged it, the whole socket came out :/
Unfortunately, the shower door didn't work either. When I pulled it shut, a part came towards me. I put the part back in the rail. Then I only showered with the door open.
There are shutters on the balcony doors that you can't secure anywhere, so they always fall shut again. I had to help myself out with kitchen chairs to keep them open. With regard to the balcony, I would suggest buying new furniture. The balcony is quite narrow and long, the chairs and table too big and clunky.
For a longer stay you should know that there is no washing machine. It is not noted online that there is one, but also not that there is none.
I was particularly disturbed by the noise due to the very poor soundproofing. Towards the end of my stay, the apartment above me was also rented out. Depending on where the people were, you could easily hear their conversations. You could also hear the TV or cell phone, and not because the volume was so high or the guests were talking so loudly. From the front door, you could hear every step in the hallway as people came and went. There were also sometimes strange, relatively loud noises that I couldn't quite place. Maybe from the water pipes?
Sometimes it got very warm in the bedroom at night and as there is no air conditioning there I moved to the sofa in the kitchen, which would not be possible if I was staying with two people.
It might be interesting to know that the landlady Gita herself lives in the house, at the bottom. Whenever you leave the house, she sits downstairs on her bench.
