About this chalet rental
This "Chalet" has been built as an alternative to the luxury hotels in the region because you have a privatized spa and relaxation area including a heated indoor pool, sauna as well as an exterior whirlpool.
Situated in the french "Vosges Mountains" near the city of Gérardmer, at about 1h40 from Basel-Muhlhouse Airport (BSL), from Strasbourg Airport (SXB) and only 2h30 drive from Luxembourg (LUX).
In Winter, the region of the "Hautes Vosges" offers lots of skiing possibilities with the Resort of Gérardmer being a short 10 minute drive away. The biggest resort being "La Bresse-Hohneck - La Belle Montagne " a 20 minute drive away.
Across from the chalet and in walking distance you have one local ski slope for downhill skiing and lots of tracks for nordic skiing.
In summer the whole region in know for its "trekking" paths but also nautic activities (sailing, rowing, diving, boating) on the Lake of "Gérardmer".
Of course also the cycling "tour de france" , biking, mountain-biking, trekking, walking, paragliding and much more.
