OPEN SKY penthouse | Cap Ouest, Wolmar | Feet in the water | Cleaning & cooking

We had the most amazing time staying at this penthouse. It’s location and amenities fitted our needs. The housekeeper met us and we managed to converse with our small vocabulary of French (but google translate backed us up)! She had prepared a welcome meal, which we ate in the evening! We also asked her to cook meals for us on a few other days, which she prepared for us and we heated and ate in the evenings (hanging her cash money in advance)! The decking was just awesome, clean and well set with an outdoor eating area, loungers and and sitting area where we played cards and enjoyed our evenings.The bedrooms where very clean, with ample space for our clothes and bags (one is slightly bigger in terms of space) and the aircon is superb and allowed us 10 nights of comfortable sleep in the Mauritian heat! The lounge and kitchen had everything we needed and we used the cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and iron when required. The housemaid would (when we didn’t or were out) empty the dishwasher, put out our washing from the washing machine and made up our rooms and ditched the rubbish everyday (bar Sundays when she didn’t work)!This penthouse was the perfect place at Flic En Flac for us to enjoy our 10 day holiday to celebrate a 60th birthday and also a retirement!Would we come again - most certainly!And to add that extra stress free to our stay, we had constant comms available to the booking agent via WhatsApp and that was great. We loved it 100% x

Great views with a lovely dipping pool and a swimming pool right by the beach. Very good facilities and a comfy bed. Having meals cooked for us too was a real treat.

The stay was very good, the apartment and the staff on site are also very good and very helpful. The flat looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The only reason we cannot give this holiday accommodation 5 stars is that the terrace lighting does not work and there are repeated short circuits throughout the apartment.Similarly, property management for all buildings is not very reliable. They failed to have the water tanks filled on time four times, which meant that we were left without water throughout the entire flat for several hours on each occasion.

The condo was beautiful, has everything you need and just as pictured. Its in a good area close to the main shops and restaurants in Flic en Flac. The communication with the manager is good and Stephanie the housekeeper is lovely and pleasant and keeps the place very neat and tidy. A wonderful place for a Mauritius vacation!
