Villa Elena

Waterfront villa with private pool, large garden, and stunning views. Sleeps 13 in 5 bedrooms plus an open loft area, with 5 bathrooms. Designed by famous architect, Bruno Fedrigolli, in the late 60s, villa Elena is a living tribute to modern art and design, filled with unique one off artistic masterpieces. In this villa you will find optimum comfort in vintage designer style, large and bright open spaces and big green swathes of garden with ancient olive trees. The villa is filled with extraordinary unique and original pieces that tell a story of modern art in Italy. There is a bed designed and crafted by Arnaldo Pomodoro, bronze and plexiglass sculptures by Marco Lodolo, and marble sculpted masterpieces by Michele Chiossi.



The villa is organised into 2 distinct parts, each usable as an independent house, while still being connected to the rest of the villa, so ideal for multiple families on holiday together. The “main” villa is most recently rennovated, while the “second” part and the apartment are original of the period.

Bedrooms: 13 beds in 5 rooms plus attic. The main part has 2 double bedrooms and one with two single beds. The second part has two double bedrooms and an open triple room.

Bathrooms: 4 bathrooms, three are ensuite in the double rooms and two are family bathrooms shared with the other bedrooms and loft area. .

Kitchen: 2 fully equipped kitchens (one in the main part, one in the second ) with all large and small appliances including Nespresso, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, hob, oven, toaster, crockery, pots and utensils.

Indoor/outdoor dining: Inside there is a large dining table for 14 people, and also outside on the covered veranda with breathtaking views for 14 people.

Indoor/outdoor living room: 3 indoor sitting areas, one in each unit, the lounge in the main villa can accommodate 14 people on all different sofas. The room in the second part can accommodate 6-8 people and the third room can accommodate 4 people. Outdoor spaces on the terraces around the villas.

Media: Lounge in the main villa has a smart flat screen TV with digital cable. Lounge in the second villa has a new flat screen HD-TV55' with streaming NETFLIX, satellite connection Astra.

Swimming pool: large private swimming pool, 10m x 6m, with beautiful view of the lake and surrounding gardens, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Garden: 6,000 m2 of private garden with olive groves, beautiful flowers, old trees, original sculptures and many breathtaking panoramic corners.

Access to the lake: private gate with access to the lake. The coast here is rocky, not on the beach, so it’s not always easy to get to the lake, ping pong, paddle sup.

Games: table tennis, TRX table football.

Air conditioning throughout the villa.

Other: washing machine and iron, safe and hairdryer in all bathrooms.

Parking: large private car park (2/4 covered and up to 4 in the open parking of the villa).

Animals: pets are welcome in the villa and there is a fee of 100 euros per animal

The villa is about 400m down the road from the Port of Torchio, in Manerba, with 2 excellent restaurants as well as a bar/gelateria and a boat rentals company. There is a marina just 100m from the villa, where we have a boat mooring for a boat up to 7m reserved for the villa. The village of Montinelle, with various shops, restaurants and services is about 1.5km away. At the tip of the peninsula, just 200m from the villa, you will find the water bridge to the Isola dei Conigli, a park and natural preserve great for picnics. On the other side, you will find the Pisenze beach just under Rocca di Manerba, with an SUP (stand up paddle canoes) centre and a wonderful restaurant on the beach of Pisenze. There are also various trekking tracks taking you up the Rocca di Manerba, an archaeological park with fabulous ruins as well as a nature preserve.
