The district
Saint Lucia (A bugged in Syracuse) is the name of the second circuit and what is considered the second historic district of Syracuse historically also known as Borgata.
The neighborhood has emerged in the second half of the nineteenth century when began the expansion of urban development of the city to the north. The neighborhood's name comes from the formation of houses then inhabited by the emerging middle class who followed a checkerboard pattern.
The main monument of the neighborhood is the Church of Saint Lucia to the tomb outside the walls, in the square where legend has it occurred the martyrdom of Saint Lucia (that explains the second denomination of the district), which is why on December 13 of each year Luciani becomes the epicenter of the festivities at the height of the long procession started from the Cathedral. The simulacrum of the patron saint remains there for a week until the date of 20 December the eighth.
A tour around
The museum Paolo orsi and Neapolis are within walking distance, as well as ortigia and the small beach and the solarium which are located in the immediate vicinity.

Here's what we expect from you:
Take good care of the house you rented as if it were your: keep it clean and tidy, do not annoy the neighbors with your behavior or loud noises.
Throughout your stay to their rented are responsible for the damage that might occur (unless these are not the result of normal wear and tear) and the risks related to your presence (fire, flood, etc.).
Arrivals and departures
The arrivals take place after h. 15.00 on the day of arrival, departure will take place within h. 10:00 on the day of departure.
Any changes to the arrival and departure times should be agreed in advance with the person in charge of the house and is subject to acceptance of the latter, and will be flexible compatibly with the requirements of the other incoming or outgoing customers.
And 'the obligation of the customer to contact the property at least 2 days prior to arrival to determine time of arrival.
Order and cleanliness
Replace any furniture moved during the stay. The crockery and other equipment of the house must not be used or transported outside the house.
The house is delivered clean, tidy and in good condition, the customer must provvederne cleaning, carefully putting the garbage in the containers that are found on the streets after 18:00 and up to 22 hours.
And 'no smoking in the house, smokers must use the ashtray, not throwing cigarette butts on the ground.
Throw in the toilet only toilet paper, any other object could damage the lifting station with consequent serious inconvenience.
The apartment is delivered clean, tidy and fully equipped; Customers must provide: to wash dishes used, empty the fridge of their food supplies and empty the garbage.
