About this house rental
Farmhouse surrounded by olive trees and surrounded by the quiet of the countryside with suggestive views and enchanting panoramas. Possibility of walks in the nearby forest where it is possible to admire spontaneous flowers of various species. In the surrounding area you can discover small remote villages and visit the beautiful Romanesque church of S. George.
The house is equipped with kitchen with fireplace, dining room, 4 bedrooms for a total of 7 beds plus the possibility of adding an additional bed in the living room, two bathrooms, attic with fireplace and satellite TV and washing machine on the ground floor. Outside there is a large garden with table and relaxation armchairs, internet service. It is possible to request a cot and high chair for children.
On request it is possible to have bed linen and towels.
The weekly stay allows excursions in the city of Lucca, in Versilia, Garfagnana and Mediavalle; Pisa, Pistoia, Florence, Siena, Le 5 Terre can easily be reached.

My niece and I had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! His parents, Lisa and Normano, made us feel like old friends and the grounds are beautiful, full of fruits and flowers! The drive up the mountain was a little tight at some points so it's not for the faint of heart but well worth it. The 2-story house is perfect for a family or friend group. There are spaces to have some alone time (inside and outside) as well as a large kitchen to cook and eat together. It's about an hour drive and 10 toll to Florence and a little less to Lucca. We drove each day and then came back in the afternoons to spend time in nature. There's an Esselunga supermarket at the bottom of the mountain where you can stock up before you head up. I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Challenging uphill ride to an oasis of tranquility, plenty of room, perfect views, parents of the owner live nextdoor and are welcoming and helpful, but respectful of your privacy.

Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Francesco was very helpful with directions prior to arrival. His parents are close by and are lovely people and made the stay very special. A truly magical place with breathtaking views and pristine nature. Lucca is also very close with excellent restaurants and rich history. A great authentic place to stay for anyone visiting the area.
