Villa Iris is in a good location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nicely furnished. A real highlight is the view of Mount Etna.
Unfortunately, there were some significant drawbacks. The rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed: you can hear every word and every movement from the neighbours, and even every trip to the toilet. That made restful sleep almost impossible. The pillows were also very hard, so I couldn't sleep on them. On top of that, our bed linen had stains, which is simply not acceptable in terms of hygiene.
