About this house rental
3 levels of comfortable living for your stay in Washington DC. 3 large bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens ) with fluffy down confronters and high quality sheets, 3.5 recently renovated modern bathrooms (each bedroom has it's own bathroom), large TV room with wide screen TV, dinning room that seats 10, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, outdoor seating and dining with a large weber grill, grand entertaining room on first level, soaring ceilings and original wood and plaster moulding throughout the house. There is a full sized washer and dryer, digital cable and WIFI throughout the house.

We loved everything about this house! It was clean, has comfy beds with nice bedding and pillows, fluffy white towels, good AC, and a fab location. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with an extra sink and bar area that is perfect for prep or serving drinks. The owner has the home stocked with wine and other adult bevs (we replaced what we consumed), which was fun to discover upon arrival after a long flight! We came to DC for our son's graduation, and this house was perfect for our group. It is an easy walk to the metro, grocery store, restaurants, and bars. There were 3 of us for all of our stay, plus 2 that stayed for part of the time. There are plenty of bathrooms and privacy for 6 people/3 couples. The second floor TV lounge was the fave place to hang out, it has a desk area which my husband used. He loved being in the same room as us, and not feeling isolated while having to work while on vacation. We hosted a brunch for 5 of us, then on one of the nights hosted dinner for I think 8 of us. The dining room is large, with seating for 10. We also sat outside a couple of times, which was relaxing. The only things I would change are that I'd add second nightstands with lamps in all of the bedrooms, folding suitcase stands, and chairs in bedrooms 2 & 3. I'd also put washable runners at the foot of all 3 beds to protect the white bedding from suitcases. Ralph (owner) is very responsive, polite, and easy to work with. We will definitely be back. Perfect place to spend a long weekend in DC. Plenty of room for everyone. Location was great for walking to restaurants and a quick uber to the National Mall. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Ralph was very hospitable and answered all our questions almost immediately. Would absolutely stay here again!

We felt like a home away from home. Extremely convenient to all local spots of interest from the Whitehouse to the Capitol building. We are definitely returning. The host is amazing and very cool. All the amenities you’d think of from a 5 star place.
