Mayfield View, a 6 bedroom, cedar clad holiday home located in the picturesque village of Mayfield and a wonderful choice for large groups and families who are looking for a holiday or short break exploring the Peak District National Park and surrounding areas.
Just 5 min drive from the market town of Ashbourne and 20 minutes from Alton Towers Theme Park, this beautiful home features a stunning kitchen / dining room with retractable glass doors and stunning views of the valley.
Private walled garden with stunning and uninterrupted views of Mayfield Valley and ample parking.
The property comfortably hosts up to 16 people with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 6 WC’s, 2 lounges and a stunning kitchen, dining area.
The house has gas central heating, fibre broadband, WIFI and the 2 lounges are fitted with HD TV's, Freeview, cable TV, CD, radio, bluetooth stereo speakers and additional sofa beds.
The gardens include private lawns, a large patio with loungers and well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking inside of the property.
Modern home comforts are in the kitchen with Neff double oven, wine fridge, microwave, plate warming drawer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and an induction hob set in a large marble island cooking and breakfast bar. The dining area comfortably seats 16 persons for breakfast / dinner. Open the glass doors and you can eat al fresco.
The utility area includes a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities, bed linen and towels are all included and travel cot and highchair are provided on request.
There is a secure garage for storage of your bikes and outdoor equipment and a wireless alarm system throughout the house.

We had a wonderful time at Mayfield. The house and accommodation were exactly as described, in fact in some ways the photos didn't do them justice. We particularly liked the downstairs arrangement which suited us well, as it made socialising across the generations easy. We're planning to return next year. Communication with Lisa and Paul was also effortless. Thanks both.

Stunning location, warm, comfortable a perfect place for our family reunion. The kitchen became the focus for much joy, laughter, discussion and banter cuisine. Thank you for providing the ideal place for wonderful weekend.

Took our children, partners & grandchildren for 3 nights in Mayfield view. On the whole we’re very pleased with the property. One shower not working, batteries gone in smoke alarm and one toilet not flushing properly. But on the whole enjoyed by all.
